This is why this generation filled with pussies
Bring Back Ultra Violence Anime
Which generation? There are like 5 of them in rotation right now.
You're right, anime is responsible for the emotional maldevelopment of an entire generation the world over.
This generation is full of pussies because there aren't any obscure x rated OVAs being made anymore?
>bring back unprofitable niches
Sounds like a shit financial decision to me.
OP can't even type out a proper English sentence, you can't expect him to not be retarded.
Go watch your Keon, Trannies.
Marketing mindless violence as horror is completely moronic and I am glad that it's a near dead genre in anime
The point of horror is make deaths that actually counts, make you disturbed, and can traumatize you at the least amount of blood possible.
No one cares about the thousand deaths at AoT, Inuyasha, DBZ, Zombie-crap and so on for they are just nameless figures
But people remember the time a girl was fused with a dog, Homura killing Madoka as she wished, Guts forced to watch Casca get raped, Mitty of Made in Abyss getting mutated by the curse, and so on. Those are real horror
Even the original SAW never had any blood - just a psychological thriller.
It's a paradox that the more blood there is in your horror, the less scary it gets.
Ultra violence in anime never died. No, you can still find them in shitty shows like AoT, Akame ga Kill, Blood C, etc
Bbbb but the actual anime is garbage
Faggot are now head writers on Amerilard networks like CN and Nick.
Faggot ruin everything
Violence is not kawaii and moe, my MAL bros would hate it.
Random anime violence has lost all emotional/shock value in a world where people have probably seen a video of a real human being getting their head chopped off by ISIS before they reach 14 years old. You need psychological shit, like says
It'll never happen. Do you remember when rock & roll and video games were blamed for the corruption of the youth in the west? Well that happened in Japan with anime & some other media, but the difference is the thought police won.
Ultra violence is for edgy teens
True horror is achieved by presenting deaths that were crafted with raw emotions of fear. It has no sense of anger or insanity and instead dwells in an intricate lattice of a calculated murder
no, now you have to squeeze in a strong woman message somewhere before the the woman violently kills her potential murderer via asspull
Gore isn't supposed to be horror and it has it's place. The point isn't to spook you but to make you aware of your mortality.
And yes it is pretty much dead. There's 1 show a year that has lots of violence and some blood pinatas. But the stuff from back then is gone. We're talking ripping someones head off and eating their brain, like Gunm. Or having your stomach open up and the organs fall out, like in Akira. We don't get that stuff anymore.
I rewatched Highschool of the Dead the other day and for all the violence and blood there's no super graphic stuff like you'd see in some horror movies. No flesh rotting filled with worms, no broken arms with bones sticking out, no organs hanging out of someones injured belly.
Whats the name
happy sugar life
Nice bait
You guys do realize that hyperviolent anime was almost NEVER popular in Japan, and all hyperviolent anime were restricted to OVAs and found more success in the Americas than in Western countries, right?
Classics to us like Genocyber or Wicked City aren't classics to Japanese OVA fans.
Hyperviolent OVAs were always unprofitable and that's part of why they died. The other reason why hyperviolent OVAs died is during the mid-90s, Japanese right-wingers and butthurt parents protested and passed a law that restricted how violent anime can truly be.
Regardless, TV anime is just as violent now as TV anime was then, compare something such as Saint Seiya (arguably the most violent TV anime of the 80s) to something modern like Killing Bites, which is just as violent.
in the Americans than in Japan, right?*************
My bad.
Shiki has a mother cradling her rotten son and a vampire girl getting flattened
This, the only way for ultra violence and extreme gore to come back is for anime to become increasingly more westernized, which wouldn't be a good thing at all
yikes!
Violence creates delinquents and delinquents are bad for the economy and the government.
It's a really bad anime btw

What's a Keon?
Ultraviolence appeals to no one except american incels who don't even watch anime anyway. Majority of animufags are waifufags and husbandofags watching gachashit, idolshit, sportshit, slice of life shit and shounen shit.
So what do you like?
Kino
>You guys do realize that hyperviolent anime was almost NEVER popular in Japan
Yes we do that's no secret. Nobody cares.
The way violence is depicted has changed. Sure there's violence and blood and people die, but it's less gory.
Your own webm just proves how wrong you are in saying that there's no difference. What modern anime has a dog getting squished to death with organs and vomit drawn.
The best example of how things changed is Devilman. Sure the modern version is violent, demons get ripped into pieces and explode in blood pinatas. But it's different from the OVAs or the manga even. The designs are abstract and cartoonish, the blood is yellow and the violence feels less real.
>webm
wtf
Sadly it won't be happening now that CERO is fucking shit up.
It's one reason games like House Of The Dead and even Resident Evil were toned down a fuck ton in comparison to their 1990s counterparts.
I had a coworker who tried to tell me they liked Naruto or Bleach or some shit, I don't remember, it was one of them, anyways they tell me they like it because it was violent. So I loaned them a copy of Apocalypse Zero and Angel Cop.
Mecha, scifi seinen/mystery and maybe one grimdark violent thing in half a decade. But of course, most everyone won't contribute to the sales etc on this board. Grimdark rose as a genre in the west like a few years back in SFF (especially fantasy) but kinda died off. And I feel like grimdark died off in animu too in general and was replaced by moeshit. It's niche.

Do you lack basic reading comprehension?
I said TV anime violence now is no different from TV anime violence then.
My webm, and the webm you posted are from OVAs.

What law?
I'd have guess it's because "adult" anime moved to late night TV rather than OVAs, so they had to deal with broadcasters and their standards. That and it being unpopular, obviously.
Why the arbitrary distinction?
>Resident Evil
lmao no
>This is why this generation filled with pussies
Dorohedoro was really gory.
I don't think that's entirely true. You couldn't make a show like FotNS today and show it in the early evening.
Is that Grimey?
