He'll probably be fine. I think for the first MU2020 stream they did on 4/4 they made like 3.9 million JPY (around $30,000). That eclipsed door sales and drinks for any given event by a fair margin.

You'd be surprised. A lot of clubs in Japan have jumped on the streaming bandwagon, or at least DJs have. The amount of streams I've found is difficult to keep up with. A lot of events are proper full 6+hr events with good DJs too. For instance, this happened yesterday

This was great, I love how Shimamura reacted to this whole thing - first, he ranted on twitter how it's unfair that events are cancelled but Abe fucked entertainers over, then he organized a mindblowing stream party himself and it's going really strong there. I love how fast they adapted.

Anison Matrix 10th anniversary. The general one is in July. Right now, it seems that events are cancelled up untill 31.05 officially, but Japan had not hit the big tide of incfections yet, so it might spill to july.

Nice that one is still doing until late in the night. This one's going to end pretty early in the afternoon for me so going to 4PM will be a bit more like the usual Mogra ones.
