Personally, I prefer Yuga to be lost instead of destiny draw to win in this episode This way makes a duel look more realistic.
Sure, MC lost 2 times in a row at early episodes is looks not very good, but in my opinion. Yuga doesn't need to be very strong duelist.
I mean, he's already good at being a Rush Duel creator.
