Fire Punch changed my perspective on manga forever. It's a modern masterpiece that deserves to be praised and read by all. Does Yas Forums like Fire Punch?
Fire Punch changed my perspective on manga forever...
I seriusly wonder who makes these threads?
It's a discord group?
It's fans of the manga clearly. You retard. What? We can have 200 BnHA and Demon Slayer threads daily but we aren't allowed to discuss something that's arguably way better? What's wrong with that?
I dunno felt like an exercise in nihilism
Yas Forums is dead is only mainstream anime, shonen shit, and 90% fanservice OVA garbage.
Yeah I agree with this. Still really good and definitely works a lot better when not serialized.
What a god tier manga. Togata is such an amazing character.
San being saved from the clutches of a dystopian system by Agni who he views as a powerful godlike figure but eventually becoming the leader of a similarly tyrannical system and more powerful than Agni is one of my favorite character arcs.
Togata not having more relevance at the very end is the author's biggest mistake.
At the same time her not having more significance at the end plays into the introduce significant character, give them lots of development, then kill them off thing pretty well.
Though yeah I would've loved seeing more Togata.
It's not about having the thread, it's about how little discussion there is about the manga's content and how masturbatory these threads are. In a few words, they come off as vapid and desperate, instead of just as a normal discussion. This isn't just Fire Punch that gets this treatment, the same happens with 90% of HxH threads whose only intention is to compare it to other shonen, instead of talking about the actual content.
gay tranny shit
Really happy of all the hype and love it gets here since those threads. However i hope it wont get ruined with the spamming of the L I VE face especially with the embarassing collage of his face on other protag that "suffered".
That being said the threads in 2016-17 were really comfy
based
>muh hxh
>muh fire punch
You sound obsessed. Maybe stay out of these threads?
but was it kino?
German word for Cinema
the fact that there's an /s4s/ sticky hurts your argument just a bit.
People who actually enjoy manga.
t. had to endure the same "Who's the retard making these threads/Why is this shit so pretenious" posts since I started reading Punpun in 2008.
Nenneto had Sans kids, right?
everybody's always agni face this agni face that, I just want collages of best girl
I think she had "Sans'" kids but not sure.
about a month ago there was a read-along thread every day for each volume. they had 1000+ replies because fire punch is genuinely fun to read. then afterwards lots of dumbasses started making constant threads without checking the catalog to talk about it. this pissed off other retards, who are to this day spamming fire punch threads daily to make people dislike it.
Chainsaw Man just doesn't have the same level of kino as Fire Punch. It's just a scree of nonsense. Fire Punch has actual heartfelt moments.
CSM will surpass FP.
>It's just a scree of nonsense
So just like Fire Punch then? All of Fujimoto's works are dumb nonsense. But it's fun nonsense. Just because you somehow pieced together the nonsense of one of Fujimoto's works into something consistent in your headcanon-filled schizo brain doesn't mean it's less nonsensical than any of Fujimoto's other stuff.
I finished the manga today (picked it up yesterday). I didn’t understand a lot of stuff towards the very end
>San
It's Sun. サン = San in literal romanization, but it's how you write the English word Sun. This is to act as a parallel to Luna (sun and moon), and it's not like we call her Runa.
Also gonna drop this here because now I'm convinced that people didn't pick up on this either, but Judah is pronounced "Yuda".
Anyway, I heard that people had issues with the ending? The one thing that specifically bugged me was that the tree didn't kill everyone by absorbing their life energy and yet it was able to do exactly what the first one did and warm the land. Also I was kind of bugged by Sun not realizing that he and Sulya looked alike as well. They already explained that people like Luna, Sun, Judah, and Sulya were the next stage in evolution, and that humans that had gone on to colonize other planets would eventually look identical. Notice in the epilogue that all of the newer generations look like the other characters.
Oh yeah, and why was he named Agni? I get that it means fire, but it's not like he was born on fire. He should have been born Sun, and I like that the ending leads him to that.
>Also gonna drop this here because now I'm convinced that people didn't pick up on this either, but Judah is pronounced "Yuda".
What is "Yuda" supposed to be?
>The one thing that specifically bugged me was that the tree didn't kill everyone by absorbing their life energy and yet it was able to do exactly what the first one did and warm the land.
I believe it's said only the land around the tree was warmed, which is why Agni was given the kill pill (since nuclear war was about to erupt over the limited land).
>Oh yeah, and why was he named Agni? I get that it means fire, but it's not like he was born on fire. He should have been born Sun, and I like that the ending leads him to that.
I never thought about that, really cool.
I completely agree. OP do you realize you and all your fellow FP-posters are fucking up the reputation by posting these obnoxious threads. The fuck do you need to keep discussing lol. The plot is wrapped up. Write an article or record a vlog discussing it if you really need to unpack all the themes.
Here's an opinion. FP "deepness" piggybacks on Fuji's willingness to leverage edgy topics like rape, sexual deviancy, fringe fetishes, etc. It makes it seem deeper than it actually is, but only because his mangaka peers are happy staying in normal areas of plot and suspense. It's not brilliant literature, just a quirkier story among many.
I do like his storytelling and art though, but stop calling it a masterpiece
so you're the same retard shilling and one-man-spamming both?
fantastic, now I can tell you to put on a fucking trip so I can filter you forever, you fucking faggot
Judah is most likely the intended Latin spelling of ユダ (Yuda), but I'm now sure that 99% of readers were calling her Joodah.
I had thought that maybe Agni's body was being used to help power the warmth the tree provided, but it was no longer aflame after the regenerative part of his brain got blown out so there goes that theory. But Sulya had told Judah that the tree would require tons of life energy to combat the ice age, and even more from other planets to keep going.
Always confuses me a bit as a German whenever I see that being used as slang. Lots of Metropolis fans on here maybe, haha. But nah, I guess the exact origin of most of these terms is inscrutable if they’re not directly traceable back to something obvious (e.g. trips, sage, b& etc.).
