New to watching anime, got any recommendations? I've seen some f/a/mous ones like Lucky Star and Nge, and am craving more. Also, I've heard quite a bit that manga is better than anime, is this true?

Thanks! I'm assuming yryr is to Yas Forums what 1d4chan is to /tg/?

What genre are you looking for OP?

Serial Experiments Lain

Don't care really. All I know is that newer stuff like Jojo and My hero academia don't interest me at all. Comedy, horror, gundam, dosen't matter what it is as long as it is fun to watch.

Cowboy Bebop

Jojo is not new, BTW. The anime is an adaptation of an 80s manga that is ongoing. The anime has currently only adapted the parts of the story published from 1987 through 1999.

>New to watching anime, got any recommendations?
Yeah, try out , I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

If you're interested in manga I'd absolutely recommend "Ibitsu". It's a super fun read from start to finish.

Watched it. I'll make a quick list of things i watched and enjoyed:
>Girls und panzer, initial d, deathnote, lucky star, neon genesis evangelion, tanya the evil, cowboy bebop, goblin slayer, one punch man
As you can see, i'm a complete newfag

Aw, give Jojo a chance!
Anyway, Mob Psycho 100 is maybe your best answer if you're looking for something newer.

>newer stuff like Jojo
Erm ... so, if Jojo is too new for you, you want some 60s and 70s stuff, right? 80s at most?

try boku no pico

Code Geass is similiar to NGE and Death Note. Gurren Lagann is like those but dumber and more fun. If you liked Cowboy Bebop try out Samurai Champloo. Puella Madoka Magica if you enjoyed Girls und Panzer or FMA:Brotherhood and Hunter x Hunter if One Punch Man tickled your need for action.

I recommend Lain too, it's very unique.

It's not about being new, I just haven't really enjoyed it. I might try watching a bit more, but halfway through the second season I lost interest. I don't care when it was made, but if you really want me to lower the range, I seem to enjoy 80's, 90's, and early 2000's

Wangan Midnight for more car autism

>quitting halfway through the second season of Jojo
Understandable. just watch the last 5-6 eps of Season 2 and start the next part desu. It gets so much better.

>rec thread on Yas Forums
>shounen fags unironically answer
Can we get both of these retards to fuck off, please?

Strange that there isn't a "request outside of /wsr/ and /r/" option in the report function. Or at least I didn't see it. Didn't there used to be one?

What you need is Daily Lives of High School Boys AKA as danshi koukousei no nichijou for comedy

And Fate/Zero for deep plot and action

Hey user, what would you recommend?

As I understand it, it's the "advertising or begging" option, as requests are a form of begging.

Boogiepop Phantom
Boogiepop and Others

Can't you just fucking find something for yourself? We're not in the 90's where it was hard to know anything about anime.

Im gonna spam porn if this thread isn’t deleted in 10 minutes

Don't walk down this perilous road, user. Just don't. Turn back while you can.

Well, OP might actually appreciate some good hentai suggestions.
