I feel really bad after reading watamote new chapters, at the start i started to empathize with Tomoko, but then she started to make friends and i noticed that even if i had a tiny circle of friends since the beginning i would never have a good school experience like the one that manga is portraying, i'm happy for the main character but she succeeding and having fun makes me sad and gay about my life, i know that's the status quo of a loner watching any SoL but that one got me from behind. In the end i just want to go back and not act as an autistic faggot in my school days and have like a normal teenager's life with my friends. Watamote showed me that being shy doesn't make you a good,interesting or fun person to be around, sometimes you are just a retard.

I think the only problem with the more recent chapters is cast bloat. Screentime is juggled between so many characters now that the strong dynamic Tomoko used to have with some of them feels a lot more watered down. Komi is probably the best example of it. Even when she's around, she doesn't really interact directly with Tomoko anymore. You'll usually just get her thinking "oh god, Komi's doing something stupid again" and that's the extent of it.
