Was it a harem?

>IM HURDURURU KYMOMAAA
>omg I want to suck his dick so bad
One of the worst harems you will ever find out there in fact.

atleast they give fat greasy otaku a wife you mean bitch

Yes and it was really bad

You're wrong, not every female liked Okabe and his relationship with Kurisu was more well developed than most anime romance

I think he was much more like friends with the girls.

The girls were not horny teenagers who wanted his dick.

>was an anime based on a visual novel with several routes a harem?

There weren't really alternate routes, but rather early bad endings in which Okabe and the world gets fucked because he chose a girl instead of commiting to fix the shot he's done

it's based on a VN you dimwit, of course MC is familiar/friendly with every important character

There were alternate endings and a true end.

Only retards are using "harem" to describe series with many female characters.
Only complete brainlets (comparable with dubfags) are using "harem" as something negative.

Best girl

Well, besides the main heroine, there's a bunch of girls kinda interested in the mc. But since the anime only follows one route, it doesn't go anywhere and they just seem like a group of friends. Makise and Luka are the only ones with a solidified romantic interest, so I don't think it can really be called a harem

I've not managed to like a single character, ship a single potential couple or like the protagonist, I have no idea why this anime is so loved

FPBP

I hated the fact that they retconned Mayuri into being in love with Okabe the whole time. It wasn't like that in the original VN.

Yep. literally r*ddit in animated form.

You retard

It's not a harem exclusively on the basis that only one girl gets to be with him at a time. It's an eligible bachelor story.

If that's the criteria then maybe like .1% of anime classified as a harem is actually a harem.
Good thing that is not a criteria though.

>t. watched 3 animes, one of which was Avatar.

You kidding me? Literally every harem anime always has a scene where three or more girls are hanging off him at once, vying for his attention. You're speaking nonsense.

As long as a viewer can pick a waifu among a huge female cast orbiting around the main character, it's a harem.

>and his relationship with Kurisu was more well developed than most anime romance
ohnononono look at this dood

Projecting
>No arguments
Most shoujo/romance content is hot garbage, you can't deny this

The Okabe confession seemed out of nowhere to me. In the anime I mean. From a few hints of romantic interest to a fucking "Hey you know, I love you and I cannot live without you"

Kurisu is as complex as a cucumber, at least in the anime, she's basically just there as a joke background character and I was supposed to be invested in anything related to her? Faris and Okabe had a way better chemistry.

Who needs a harem when you can have have tuturu

>Seemed out of nowhere
I want to believe this is bait, or that maybe it's just been several years since you watched this and you just found it forgettable. Either way, it was the total opposite of "out of nowhere". He specifically told her how much her support meant to him through his lonely time loop suffering.

To me she was a Mary Sue and her background was almost non-existent. What I´m trying to say is: Mayuri best girl.
