Vast majority of them are rather underdeveloped, even compared to Espada. I think the only ones with some decent popularity are Askin and Giselle. Hash and Bazz seem like characters who should be popular, but they kinda failed at it. They seem rather similar to Byakuya/Renji and Ulquiorra/Grimm only that they aren't Ichigo's rivals. By the way, I wonder if anime will try to fix Ichigo screentime issue. All he does aside of his training arc is constantly going back and forth between the realms without really accomplishing anything in any of them before the finale (and even then most job of the job is done by Aizen and Uryu).

The thing with most of the sternritters is that they generally seem to be there to be beaten up and that's about it. The only ones I remember amounting to anything more are Giselle, Askin, As, Bazz and Hash, they have some longer stories attached to them.

From the dudes it will be Askin, he is already the fan favorite. Other than that especially Bazz-B and Haschwalth might also get a lot of attention, especially if the latter one gets expanded upon a bit. Other solid contenders are Gremmy, Mask, the rest are fairly uninteresting personalitywise.

Their feud doesn't have a meaningful impact on the story and their characters hit beats that are predictable and conventional for the genre (Bleach itself had hit them before). It makes one wonder why Kubo even bothered. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice diversion from Kubo's usual monotony of 1v1 battles, but the flashback stuff wasn't much more than arbitrary gesture.
