Oh nononon kimetsubros what happened i thought we were numba wan?

All I see is that there's a bunch of total sales within the week that exceeds over OP. What you shitposting over a hollow gloatfest?

>#49 I Don't Really Get it, but it Looks like I Was Reincarnated in an Another World 1 - 16,620/16,620
How generic can a manga title be?

The genderbent mc imagines herself getting whored out and impregnated by ugly bastards. And she apparently an adolescent with big breasts.

You'd be surprised how much generic isekai shit I see in these charts, lol.
I switched to using the english title (where I could find it) to highlight that. It's quite puzzling desu.

>#17 Kimetsu no Yaiba 1 - 115,474/2,868,426
Just a couple of weeks more.

That's the chronic masturbator allegedly 11 year old

Can someone explain this backlog issue with Kimetsu no Yaiba?

That people are still discovering and buying the series because it's as mainstream as it gets nowadays in japan.

search the archive. people have been asking this almost every single thread.

obligatory OH NONONONO

>One Piece 95 - 21,502/1,903,914
it has been 6 months since the release of that volume and it still can't reach 2 million?

It's only been about 3 months and a half, volume came out december 28 IIRC

That's the sequel though.

yeah, you're right
but it still feels like a huge drop

>Released December 28 2019
>6 months
How are you this bad at math?

wan piss bros... are we getting beat next year too?

Do people who buy magazines mainly buy volumes? Or are people who buy volumes mostly a different cohort from the magazine readers?

Damn, shingeki sales return to pre anime heights

People who buy the magazine usually buy the volumes of what they like but there is a decent chunk of people that buys the volumes but not the magazine, which is why you get cases like with KnY and OP where the circulation of the volumes is higher than that of the magazine itself nowadays.

>Dr.Stone
Neat

I'm not bad at math
I was just naive enough to believe Google's date

>Toubun
So strong!

People who buy magazine "read" everything in it but only buy tank of series they really like. People who buy tank but doesn't read magazine base their judgement on samples, hype, friends, cover or anime.

It says "2020" right there, that's the english release date user

Let me get this straight
KnY has sold over 12 times BNHA in 2020?

The author has been wanking a group of characters nobody likes and he even tries to explain his own plotholes through the characters. The writing in the last chapters is embarrassing

can't wait to see how the movie affects the sales

They are desperate as fuck, last arc is so bad Isayama made this as the special cover volume

WAN PISSU BROS?!

Coincidentally that's also more than mha EVER sold since it was first published.

pleassee someone stop kny...

I don't follow SNK but I thought it was regarded as the third coming of Jesus by mainstream anime watchers, did something happen in the manga?

>BC barely outselling Stone
Axe soon

See
The author is in love of a loli who is a Mary Sue and he has been blatantly using liked characters to wank them aswell as manipulating and punishing his own readers for not liking his favorite characters.

It's ending soon. Let it have it's high note.

It went political, which regardless of whether you like or hate where the series is going was always going to be a divisive choice especially for the shonen demographic

Unless the croc pulls some bullshit out of her ass.

What happened? I don't really follow it but my friends said it's fucking great.

Woah, how long has SnK been just below OP? I knew it was big but I didn't realize it was literally #2 and not even that far behind #1. Is it just ending hype?

It went to shit, mary sue loli MC taking the spotlight is NEVER good.
It's actually quite disgusting what he did to make her look good and I'm sure she'll kill Eren.

>did something happen in the manga?
The manga became god tier in Volume 30, but abruptly changed course in the immediate chapters following it.

from how the story's going it's obvious she wanted to end with tang's death, human or demon.
but jump won't allow such a money-making mainstream manga end so soon in its peak.

SnK has always been #2 is sales per volume, but it's monthly so other series overtake it.

>Isayama clearly likes some characters over others
>force situations to make fans like them even causing plotholes
>(said by him) he likes to read reactions everytime he finishes a chapter and the reactions of nips were negative, the nips were shitting on one of Isayama's favorite character
>this shit happens next chapter

>What happened? I don't really follow it but my friends said it's fucking great.
AoT took a political stance. You know how Yas Forums is.

Is KnY actually good enough to be a long term success and not a passing fad?
One of these days I'll probably pick it up myself but it's pretty low on my priority list right now.

I see, if you are a fan then you have my sympathies, it sucks when something like that happens so far into the story

user, read the chart properly. Don't just look at this week's sales, there are the total sales on the right of it.

Op is on its second week and already sold the bulk of the new volume. AoT hasn't been very close to OP for a few years already, right now it's probably the third best selling manga by volume.

Just realised hero academia would need close to a 100 volumes if it ever wants to sell a 100 million, whereas yaiba likely needs another 10 give or take. Too bad.
