2020's Trends

What new trends can we expect in Anime & Manga over the 20's?

I'm betting:
>more adventurous anime
>more "american" anime
>more multinational anime
>more collaborations between western stories and anime style (Boondocks)
>anime becomes accepted like cartoons or cardashians

>the show becomes a commercial for the toys

I got bad news for the author of this

what? this shit didn't start till 2010

>everything getting worse
>nothing getting better

More twitter manga, and "100 days until" manga boom thanks to the cocodrile manga.

Ohhhhh CHEER UP!
Every Jap will get his own Anime if he can write more than two chapters of it!
Plus your favorite animaesss will get new seasons!!!

yes.

Why

>everything getting worse
It's not.

New bad things will replace the old bad things, and new good things will replace the old good things. (Mediocre garbage is eternal though)

Why

This is something I've been predicting since 2018. I think by the mid-20s somebody will figure out how to use deepfake tech to automate hand-drawn animation inbetweening without that 3D CG model look.

That's something I'm looking forward to as well.

Wouldn't we need atleast 6 animated frames per second? Or maybe two?

nope

You forgot that there'll be a lot more CG.

>more twitter manga
Yeah I can see this. Big platform with easy exposure.

I don't want that to happen. N shiet or.....

Most of them have been a thing for decades, except anything with "classics"

No.

More surprise homo

why

Because it’s the future.

The "jokes" about indirect kissu and physical contact might be phased out because of this Corona pandemic. Any character who gets sick and still does that shit might be seen unfavorably from here on out.

Nah.

More pantsu

Based

Science Saru are already doing that with Flash, dumbass. But inbetweening will never disappear completely because that's how studios train their future key animators.

Capped wisdom for posterity.

I expect broadcast anime to become even more graphic. Ishuzoku Reviewers was the start (and before that the one series way back with the twins that screwed). I expect full-on pixelated scenes on TV by decades end. Consequently I expect several H-studios to either get more work doing key animations for such contracted material or go under as a consequence.

It got taken off all non-premium channels.

it got dropped by 2 channels then 2 channels picked it up

Animefags, this is your mindset
