Last time: Ayumu rushed the pair up the east face of K2, eager for glory. Complications ensued, and now Ayumu has apparently collapsed just below the untrodden snow fields at 7500m.

This is it bros. This is the climb the entire manga has been building up to.
Two men, over a decade of free solo mountaineering experience each, both with loved ones to return to. Both of them have dreamed of climbing the most dangerous mountain in the world on the unwalked east face route. Will the two of them succeed? Or will they perish, to be found only by whatever foolishly brave souls dare attempt the very same climb?
