Funnily enough, I'd had already listened to MTH discography on repeat as the edgy teen I was before even watching death note.
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWW
FREEEEEEEEEEEEE
POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
I honestly really liked the OP, just a shame it was for the part that sucked the most.
Thats shit even if you listen it 1000 times
>Melodic, almost heroic sounding first OP to represent Light's "heroic" god complex
>Chaotic and inconcise second OP to represent Light's sanity going off the rails
that being said the second half of the show is terrible
Fate/stay night OP2
Traitor's Requiem
It was completely different from the others and I was against the change at first, but after 3 or 4 episodes it grew on me.
he cute
To quote user the day season 3's second half dropped: "Apologise to Red Swan right now".
The second half was the best. Only brainlets hate it. It completed the show.
Mellow was the protagonist the whole time, you just didnt know it yet.
Light has an absolute stance on doing whatever it takes to bring his justice to the world.
L has an absolute stance on having to abide to general moral principles to bring his justice to the world.
Near and Mellow appeared to have a similar dichotomy at first, but in the end it is revealed that Mellow won because he did the one thing nobody, not even perfect genius Light Yagami himself ever considered. Used the Death Note.
Mellow was the grey area declaring that morals should be followed when able, but sometimes you really do just have to kill an evil person for the greater good.
A particularly controversial statement for a Japanese author.
In essence both Kira and L were correct.
I understand it wasnt the authors intent at first but it really completed the story and moved it from dark shounen to a true seinen.
Damn, I remember discussing Death Note with my friends back in school. I never got why "the second half sucked" it's just the natural progression of the story.
Is it vad I dropped the show at the opening because it reminded me too much of something that would be on the disney channel
anime ops are literally designed to be earworms, regardless of how trash they seem at first. the more exposure you have to them, the better they quite literally end up being perceived by the listener. this applies to literally any anime op (except niea 7).
HEY HEY NINGEN FAGGOT
