Gundam Build Divers Re:RISE
No onscreen Patrick this week, just his name
Why is the Divers series so bad and why does it focus on these boring furries so much?
Decent episode overall. I like Hiroto and May's combination and Kazami feeling guilty about causing the furry genocide.
Seltsam decapitating mobile suits, even though all he has is a lance in this shot
too fucking slow
Where are the new MS?
I thought the studio took 4 month break because they can't draw handrawn mecha?
wtf
When will they show the ED visuals?
Was slightly disappointed that Hiroto didn't go for an immelman counterattack but that brake maneuver was neat too.
Because they're using the build franchise as safe and easy profit for low effort. They realized gunpla is popular enough now that all they have to do to make a series sell well is shit out some redesigns of old favorite gundams and it will make at least mild profit.
>Why does it focus on these boring furries so much?
Rommel was popular so they're cashing in on it.
>Rommel was popular so they're cashing in on it.
If that's true then why haven't we seen him back yet?
They wanted to try to get people excited for Kazami and Par's new suits, so they teased them and had this plot line going. We will probably spend 2 more episodes on this, with Par and Freddie, so they can introduce the sacred beasts, of which there are probably four. Then we will get Kazami confessing that this shit happened because he was an idiot and thought this was the game they play and then both parties will get their own hero moments that introduce their new gunpla properly. Things will pick up after that, since they will have to properly rescue Masaki.
I swear to god if May doesn't win the MCbowl.
How would romancing a FAG doll work?
The same way that Riku has a relationship with his. I still bet that in the future, they will be able to transfer them to bigger, more fleshy bodies, but in the mean time, it isn't like they can't just use game clients like GBN to have a more intimate experience. Hell, they might even be able to create children still, who knows how the junk data aggregate might work.
>Hell, they might even be able to create children still, who knows how the junk data aggregate might work.
If they can make real kids then I'm all up for it.
Abe, digital life is the future. Just think, no longer get sick, being hurt just means a repair of mass manufactured parts instead of surgery. No longer get mentally or physically exhausted. Making children is as easy as sharing your personality data to make a new AI and then building a new body for them. "Women" wouldn't even need to take maternal leave anymore. Help us move towards our dream of an all digital future, for the sake of humanity, together.
Things aren't looking good for the childhood friend.
How can she hope to compete with those legs?
Top tier legs
By having a pair of real legs
>implying Hiroto and May aren't going to stay on Eldora
why
You could say she'll become a Celestial Being.
That whole little bit was great. Kazami doesn't know what to feel about this whole thing. Imagine if after this whole thing is over, they manage to get the Eldorans the ability to come to Earth and the two of them get to meet like a few years later. He's going to pound that puss.
So, so far, GBN has given Earth actual living AI, only about 80 of them, but that continues to grow every year and now it will have facilitated contact with an alien planet 30 light years away. If I was any kind of governmental agency, I would be embarrassed as fuck, because apparently a game company in their worst, was able to do things that we couldn't at our best.
Has Divers picked up a bit now?
I didn't hate it like I hated Try but I ended up dropping it early into the first season because it was just kind of boring.
It involves a lot of money and property damage.
The first Divers was kind of blah. Riku and the gang never really did anything really interesting, since it was more focused on the game setting and trying to introduce 'stakes' with the game going down was kind of silly. They have done a better job with Rerise, since the stakes are actually real and the slow reveal to the stakes was good. It's characters are also better, since they aren't targeting 10 year old and instead the 15-17 year old range.
Did you not hear about the furry genocide? Rerise is good mate.
Cool, I didn't actually realize they did another cast swap, I thought Re:Rise was just a continuation, I'll give it a go
No, for what purpose beside your silly self insert
ReRise generally has a pretty positive reception here, but honestly that good will could just be everyone dropping the Build series after Try and Divers. Personally, I like ReRise a good deal, the cast has an interesting dynamic where they don't really mesh together as a team at all and they're just trying to work around that, and the buildup in the first cour leading up to the big plot twist was really well done. The show is pretty slow though, so I can understand it being offputting for people who just want nonstop mecha fights.
