yeah

...

?
Retard.

It was kino.

it was a very enjoyable film
Glad they managed to make some arthouse kino before the arson happened.

Unironically pretentious. Yamada really needs more experience.

Did Yamada or the author ever admit they were inspired by this live-action?

Source me pal.

As much as I hated it for shitting all over my fetish, it was a beautiful film.

I enjoyed it but was expecting a lot more so was kinda disappointed as well.

Well, it was very good. Some of the early threads when it first came out were quite nice until the "it was pretentious" and "it's yuri" simpletons showed up.

It was a pretty good film desu
This and COTS both looked amazing and proved that Japanese animation is still the best in the world

I realized it was a good movie after watching Chikai no finale. Having Kensuke Ushio on the ost with his usual minimalistic sounds to go alongside the third years' personal problems was good but I'm feeling blueballed for some reason I can't figure out. Also, this absolute cutie's voice was pure sex.

IT'S IN THE FUCKING FILENAME YOU RETARDED MONGOLIANS I'M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Okay, is it any good?

It's a real arthouse slow burn film. Still, it's a pretty cute watch so you should see it.

I don't know

of course kyoani love slow burn film

Liz is easily Yamada's finest work.

Yes chikai no finale is a complete different experience having watched liz, especially the performance

Get test

Chikai no Finale was bad. Rushed to oblivion in every regard, sasuga Ishihara.

Is that a twitter reference?

Ive tried reading the manga this is based on several times but I'm never in the brooding mood for it.

The storybook sections felt a bit overused but that band scene with the solo fully realised was amazing.

Chikai needed to be a series. Too many ideas crammed into one movie. It all felt so haphazard and superficial.
