He doesn't know about the next war they're going to
oh no...

Jin dynasty when?

So he's going to light the siege tower on fire with a single fire lit arrow? If its that vulnerable isnt the enemy just being retarded?

I honestly don't remember what happened here, but that looks like oil or something smeared on the side.

Okay that doesn't sound half bad

I like the current act, it started slow but I love seeing Riboku getting rekt.

The other world chapters were shit but if they were the cost to pay to finally fucking kill Houken then it was a raw deal.

Honestly, Kan Ki has been so underused in so many of the recent campaigns he has been on, him at the central gate I felt he was not suited for it since he is more of a hit and run tactics. In the recent campaign, all he was forced to do was sit around wait out the city of Gyou. Hopefully, he will be the one to chase down Riboku and cuck him. Kan Ki was so hyped when he was the one to take out Gen Bou, but after that, he was never really used much. I am still waiting for Shin to wield Ou Ki's glaive and Duke Hyou's shield. Probably never gonna happen considering how long it took for Shin to actually wear armor.
It also felt like Yo Tan Wa is a bit too weak and barley won her battle. Shes still a bar under the other Qin Generals. Right now the current ranking for Qin's new 6 great generals are
>Ou Sen
>Mobu & Tou,
>Kan Ki
>POWER GAP
>Yo Tan Wa

He had his men lob a barrel of oil at the thing first.

it's a shame that his proportions are so retarded and same rectangle cities with 150m walls are just lame

How ancient Chinese drilling an pretoleum oil ?

Horse-parkour Mouten surpassed imo

there are places where oil naturally seeps. It happened a lot around the middle east (which is why there's Djinn shit comes from)

This is the superior adaptation of Rotk.

Haven't read Kingdom but it's like 700 chapters right? Is there an overarching story or are the arcs more or less self contained? Worth reading for how long?

But Kingdom is Warring States, not RoTK.

Kingdom isn't RoTK. Also best RoTK is Ravages of Time

>siege battle
>sea of soldiers milling around uselessly below the walls waiting to get shot
I hope they're at least waiting to use ladders or something

There is an overarching story, most of the arcs are individual battles in the war to conquer china.

why does that look like a gorilla face?

>he isn't praying to the god of oily gorillas

Do the mountain people of China wear the same mask that Badio wore?

So how far away is it from ending?

Who knows, it could well be only half done at the current rate. Most of the battles have been border skirmishes or fought defensively, the current arc is the first actual invasion.

this shit will be more lengthy than one piece.. Go back when this is on chapter 1400

and dont forget about the sequel

so.. The franchise maybe reachs 3000 chapters in some future

Current arc is great because of how much long term strategy is involved instead of short term tactic. The locust plan, the "make Retsubi intentionally weak", the supply route; and to start every with, the whole idea of taking Gyou is one of the move capable of deciding the entire history of the era, on par with the idea of a coalition army. Short term tactics used in each individual battle are nice and all, but these long term 9000 iq moves are what made the series for me.

that's fucking ridiculous. How good is it tho?

Warfare in this series is very shallow

it is
