Nah the combos are the best part. And the payoff to fancy ED monsters are 10x better then fuckin tribute summoning.

Main problem with Links is that mostly they aren't that fancy. I'd rather watch Judai going -4 for Neos than a few minutes of Yusaku opening the link circuit and confirming arrows.

That's just cherrypicking the early parts when they had production issues. In S2 when they were introducing all the other ED summons it was really great to see the variety. I'm gonna miss the neat animations they did for rituals, xyz and synchro. Not just from Vrains, but the ones from 5D's and Zexal too.

Eh. I didn't like VRAINS ones. Arc-V did it better.
Either way, I doubt that everyone who complains about combos means just them and not the abuse of chain linking with the repeat of the same summon animations, which gone for entire S1 and was still around in S2.

I didn't get far enough to the Synchro arc. Wasn't Arc-V mainly repeating it from 5D's and Zexal? I like the originals but I appreciate Vrains remixing it up too.
You can call it abuse but I'm gonna disagree. It feels like there's proper buildup when they link climb into something bigger, plus the possibility of almost all the summons in the game. Rush Duels feels very flat and one-note in comparison. Like Step 1: normal fodder, Step 2: tribute, and then it ends there. I just can't get hyped about it, nevermind the bad CG.

Sevens is looking to be pretty great.

I feel it has a less interesting start than the other series honestly. It will need to get exciting pretty quickly here.

Still needs that Yuto moment imo. I hope something like that happens within the first 20 eps or so.

So far Sevens is good and I won't deny it has potential but Zexal came with the whole package so unless Sevens plot is the most amazing thing ever, i doubt Zexal will be surpassed
