I didn't. It was one of the best anime of it's year and a masterclass on how to adapt the source material. Phenomenal show.

As a teenager back in the early aughts I once tried to make a rhythm game in Game Maker called Kita Kita Revolution. It never came anywhere close to playable, though.

Possibly on some old hard drive somewhere, but nothing that's directly accessible. Given that I've only made placeholder graphics for it, it wouldn't be very interesting to look at: a stickfigure with some approximation of a straw skirt and a bunch of arrows. The basic idea was that it was going to be like Dance Dance Revolution (or rather, my impressions of it from pictures, as I hadn't actually played DDR at that point), but on the keyboard and the old man would change poses based on the directions pressed.
