The fuck were you expecting? It's a Japanese website.

because they know you will pirate their works and have no legal jurisdiction to investigate and prosecute outside japan

They have an international front, too, you know. (golbal.bookwalker), thing is, it's inferior.

The reader is the same, the selection is worse though since the global store only has a handful of Viz titles and the Japanese one seems to cover most major publishers.

My point is, it's basically the same service, and I find the notion of a licence agreement going out of it's way to distinguish those two types of services shady at it's best. But that's the point now, isn't it, international licensing is an absolute sleezeshow.

You not doing a good job of explaining your point because I have no idea what your trying to say.

which brings us back to
>What is it with jap and french websites treating the international market as second class?

This is why almost every website that matters is American. As a German, can name 1 German website that has decent international support. Everything from the french I have seen is absolutely pathetic. It's driving me nuts

Pretty much all licenses are region specific.

European markets for manga generally have much better variety of titles physically though.

>offers an all-you-can-read service

These usually have garbage nobody wants to buy.
