Just okay. We really didn't need anything after S1 though.

Will there be a new season?

S3 and the movie have redeemed the franchise in my eyes. I feel invested in the characters and setting again.
Considering how the movie ended there's absolutely going to be a sequel. Whether it's in TV or movie format isn't clear yet.

What do you not like about S2?

It fails to make you care about the new characters, the antagonists were awful (for example the guy with the super high psycho pass felt like a teenager's OC), it's idea of drama and suspense was increasing the death toll, I could go on. S3 felt like a completely different show with the lengths it went to flesh out the characters, from Arata and Kei to the new enforcers to the new baddie Azusawa. It even went and gave a S1 character like Yayoi a better reason to exist.

Mental Trace is bullshit

PP is back after that embarrassing shitshow that is S2 and the movie.

I didn't even watch the whole season, but I hoped for this to be explained, or at least the thing to have some drawback. Now I see it doesn't.

They took Will Graham’s gimmick and turned it all the way to 11. And then they turned it to 12.

yea it ok but its not as good as s1 but you never know you might enjoy it.

The S3 movie kind of sucked, but it was pretty important in that it kicked most of S3 under a rug in order to set the ground for an S4 that isn't utter dogshit.

Can you watch 3 without watching the movie?

Imo that shit would be fine in a standalone anime, but not as a part of psycho pass. wtf was the tought process when that was included?

The movie is basically just the last few episodes of S3 bundled together (it was even streamed as 3 episode-length parts).

I think that after Season 2, this show is honestly the worst idea for a police anime, due to the fact that it's poor Urobuchi's version of Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade.

Then again, the one thing that I've always wanted to see is a corrupt Mika arc, where she goes mad with power, and tries to take over the Public Safety Bureau in order to avenge the deaths of her two childhood friends from Season 1, just because Sibyl had failed her.

Only season 1 was good

I only watched the first one and the only good thing was the opening.

The whole character of Arata is bullshit, a magical Gary Stu manlet with Spiderman powers. I hope he disappears somewhere to find the truth about his past or something by the time S4 comes out.
