>Power of friendship is stronger than evil
>Enemy joins MC to fight the greater foe
>MC is nearly dead but pulls magical powers out of his ass and wins
>If you kill him, you will be just like him
Worst anime tropes
>>Enemy joins MC to fight the greater foe
this one is fucking awesome, pleb
>Bad guy could easily kill MC but decides to let him live for whatever stupid fucking reason
even worse if the MC ends up killing the same dude later on
>Power of friendship is stronger than evil
>Enemy joins MC to fight the greater foe
>If you kill him, you will be just like him
Literally nothing wrong with these you edgelord.
>Enemy joins MC to fight the greater foe
This is kino, fuck you.
>Generic self insert character is somehow incredibly attractive to women
>Protag never advances romance plot because some vocal minority of the fans will be upset
>OP protagonist for some reason doesn't just curbstomp the BBEG
alternatively
>Protagonist is OP but literally every new villain is even more OP than the last one so being OP doesn't even matter
>Loser otaku character completely overcomes their awkwardness after a single event
>historical or historically inspired settings where plate armor is like tissue paper
>bikini armor
>echhi shit thrown into the story is incredibly contrived ways because the author doesn't know how to write a story good enough to stand on its own
>"da church was da bad guyz da whole time"
>Haremshit in general
I guess what I'm really trying to say is FUCK ISEKAI and FUCK SHONEN
>dohoho, I guess I'm gonna have to use "THAT"
>coolguy walks away from friends and waves his arm around in the air while saying "jana"
>reincarnation
>protagonist has literally never lost a fight in the entire storyline except maybe like once at the very start but acts like they're in danger anyway
>"If you kill him, you will be just like him"
>"Dont care"
Never seen this happen but its ok when done this way.
>>dohoho, I guess I'm gonna have to use "THAT"
>>coolguy walks away from friends and waves his arm around in the air while saying "jana"
I fucking HATE these ones
>>Enemy joins MC to fight the greater foe
>bad
unironically off yourself
>MC is asexual until final arc
>MC fights to save world
>MC is stronger than his foes but is just and never abuses power
The only time it was done well was with Fate's Shirou, but it works only because author challenges his willingness to follow the tropes, challenge ideals and being able to give up on them. There are too few times when MC is like that.
SoL anime that have the same old cookie cutter structure we've seen a million times
>beach episode
>hot summer day episode
>new year's shrine episode
>cultural festival mini arc
>marathon running episode
>school trip episode
>rainy day episode
>studying for finals episode
>visiting rich friend's house episode
>in media res 'uh oh how will they get out of this one?' episode
>Young powerful protagonist seems to be obsessed with food
>Same protagonist is completely sexually oblivious
>Same protagonist somehow manages to have 1 or more girls who either are romantically interested in the character or are pretending not to be
>Characters pretending not to be romantically interested in each other when any self aware person would realise that they clearly are.
>filler enemy is stronger than final villain
>>"da church was da bad guyz da whole time"
When was the last time angels/the church were the good guys? that would be an actual subvertion at this point
>There is no risk in the plot, you know none of the main characters will die or lose or be hated for more than a very brief amount of time
>rainy day episode
I don't mind this one. It is very nice because it allows to interrupt usual rhythm and center episode on characters and makes them appreciate little things.
What’s wrong with ecchi? Does thou have the big gay?
Do we have any examples when MC spared the bad guys and it ends up bad for MC? Like they crippled his friends or something like that.
>cute girl avoids any beauty-tarnishing injuries
Trigun and DBZ if you count retcons
>villains also have the power of friendship
God kinnikuman is great as fuck
rainy days are based
>young powerful protagonist obsessed with food
What if we make it actually +3000 years old and shit at cooking?
>sexually oblivious
What if we also make him the lust itself incarnated?
>one or more whores chasing him
What if we make one of them stop chasing his dick halfway the story?
>characters pretending not to be interested in each other
-"meliodas sama i love yo-"
-what you said?, im too busy groping your underage body"
I like ecchi when it makes sense, but having a lucky pervert moment every chapter to distract from your shit story doesn't make for a very good series.
Actually good ecchi series should have me invested in the world and plot more than I am invested in the lead female's giant tits. The tits are a bonus, not the focus of the whole thing
If I wanted to focus on ecchi I'd just read hentai
You must be 18 years of age or older to post on Yas Forums.
I legitimately can't think of any. Maybe dragon quest, but I'm not very well read on its lore
Good thing this is 4channel then
>MC is weak
>except he's actually OP as fuck
Okay, if this is not Yas Forums why we still have porn adds and kimetsunigger circlejerk?
>MC completely ignores all love interests
>They don't move on
>Bad guy suffers no punishment and gets redeemed despite murdering dozens/hundreds/thousands of people
>Enemy joins MC to fight the greater foe
This is fucking hype, though.
>MC is bullied
>gets power
>everyone sucks MCs dick now
>Checks them all
Who was it for you? Nino?
Something like this made me drop komi-san really early. The one stalker girl kidnaps the MC, ties him up in her room and almost kills him all because he was too close to komi or whatever. Stalker doesn't admit to anything, komi and the childhood friend have to find MC tied up in stalker's closet before stalker is forced to apologize. It's also clear that stalker literally learnt nothing at all and doesn't change their behavior at all, but it's swept under the rug because they gave a shitty forced apology
Orochimaru fits too
Half the harem anime in existence. IDK about any specific case, but every time I see it it's annoying. Real people don't act like that
>Enemy joins MC to fight the greater foe
Leave and never come back.
>Enemy joins MC to fight the greater foe
This trope should be in every single story ever created, it's based.
>Smart character who can do anything "because smart"
This user puts it really well. It's the reason why most shonen mystery series are fucking awful
>>MC is weak
>But his only power/skill is a perfect counter for the regual power system
