Blue Lock

Blue Lock is a deconstruction of the usual sports manga (and every other one I've read for that instance). And by this, the goal for the MC is to become a literal Egoist instead of a faggot that cries about friendship and friends and the such. Of course, you still have some moments where teammates are required because football(soccer) is a team sport, but the main goal is to become the best striker in the world, and be capable of winning a match by yourself. I'm not actually a fan of soccer but I find this premise very interesting to say the least.

Yeah, it's pretty different that the usual sports series, but in an exciting way. The art is amazing too and lends a lot of impact to every panel.

It gets better after the MC gets his ability. A new translation team picked it up and is releasing chapters faster as well, so that's good

I'm surprised at how good this is considering who the writer is and how basically all of his other works had gone to shit sooner

I guess that's true but the OP for these is always written in the same tone and always uses the exact same cover image, nothing else. In the past few days I must've seen at least 5 threads like this, I've yet to see a single panel posted here and they all die within 20 posts too. OP should learn to just give it up at some point, Yas Forums can't like everything.

Do you know who I hate the most? The Buddhist guy, he is so trash, its his fault some better character got kicked out from blue lock. I felt this complete turn around about the fake other groups was forced by the editors cause the creator was taking too long or they would never finish this manga at the current rate so it feels like a cop-out. Especially with the talks of having no money left.
