You first.
i already did.
stop killing your brother, user
>all these boxes
I really don't get it. Is this some sort of a mental illness? Why buy figures in the first place if you aren't even going to open them? What's the fucking point? Just consuuuuming?
PSA
Corona deposits are supposed to drop on Wednesday (apparently some already have). If the IRS doesn't have your direct deposit info yet, on Wednesday, you will be able to fill it in at the following link. You don't need to have earned any money in 2018 or 2019 to be eligible. NEETs can get Trumbux too. irs.gov
What figures will you be blowing your load on?
I wonder if he was one of ours.
I've only opened my Ainz Ooal Gown fig, I just don't have the space atm. The boxes still look nice on shelves.
Basically compulsive hoarding. It is, in fact, a psychological disorder.
I'm thinking about making a custom MDD.
Kotobukiya's Raphtalia. I dont need anything else right now besides my preorders.
so you can resell them when you need to make room for new figurines
For a couple of years I had half or a bit more of my collection unopened. I was still living at home while saving up to buy a house, so I didn't want to buy new furniture to display the figures I had ran out of room for and didn't want to rebox everything for the move.
Now I use the master bedroom closet to store all the empty boxes.
>natural born slut
>seiba clones
>whore of babylon
>FGO biweekly otakubux thots
>dinoAIDS
>the used goods of a clown
>battle ships in the form of little girls instead of actual battle ships
>virgin WAGA R.U.G. lancer and not CHAD do what I want F/SN lancer
>non-canon avalon seiba
>slime not rimuru
Shit taste.
Only acceptable ones are Seiba (that's casual af btw), Lelouche, and the girl on the left in the book behind saber lilly.
>Why buy figures in the first place if you aren't even going to open them?
how do you know if he didn't open them? he clearly doesn't have enough display space though, but that's another issue
I'm using that money for when I go back to Japan
collectors items, such as figurines, retain/grow in value when kept in mint condition
i have an aunt who's collected barbies and various dolls since her childhood (and mine), and has used the money from selling some of them to start businesses
Not a fan of Shunya yamashita, but healthy Miku makes me happy in my pants.
>collectors items, such as figurines, retain/grow in value when kept in mint condition
that doesn't apply to most anime figures,
Wow, this looks like absolute garbage. What a shame.
Reselling is not easy.
Just like light from a long-dead star
SAL packages from Japan
Continue to arrive

That's a delusion most hoarders like to entertain, but most of the time it isn't really true. Most anime merchandise will be next to worthless in 10 years time or at least have degraded in value to a point where you can't justify wasting that much space on them. Buy gold if you really want to own something that retains its value.
If I was going to buy doujinshi to scan them, where should I check that they haven't been scanned yet, beside the sad panda?
I don't have space and I don't want them to be covered in dust.
I'd rather buy anti-microbial, conductive copper for 2 dollars than anti-corrosive gold for 2 grand a unit.
how often do companies go back and remodel a figure before release?
>shipping died
what now?
Slim chance
My EMS package arrived at Tokyo INT. Bookies make your odds on how long it takes for this package to arrive. I will bet the favorable odds.
The colors are great and she got nice legs
what is the point of this? I understand keeping it in the original box is to preserve the value, but isn't the whole point to display them? why buy these if you're going to hide most of them behind others in one big stack? why not use the money on something that has real value? and doesn't it bother you how much money you've sunk into what is essentially worthless product? and how do you deal with people seeing your collection of figures? how do you take yourself seriously?
