Jojo part 5 has by far the worst cast of any part, all the characters are just like strange, uncomfortable, homoerotic, husks, they just grimace and grunt and do gay poses, in the 4 preceding parts the characters were gruff but very spirited, i feel like part 5 is trying to come off as like more cool or cultured or some gay shit but it totally fails and makes a for painfully dry and colorless part compared to all previous parts

Attached: jojo part 5.png (1609x950, 2.18M)

it relies on having just weird stupid random stands and shit but it not even fun and character driven like part 4 or adventurey and action packed like part 3 and to a lesser extent parts 1 and 2

Part 5 is just like it’s cast
The worst in the franchise

buzzwords

>adventurey and action packed
>fun and character driven

what a bunch of bullshit

part 3 was way longer than it should be

part 4 was an actual literal slog to get through, it was just so fucking boring, I don't know why people keep saying Josuke is a good MC, you could literally erasr him from existence with Za Hando and the show would still be the same

At least part 5 had people killing each other almost every episode

Part 5 is easily the weakest of the parts and I fucking hate Giorno but I still love it cause La Squdra and specifically Pesci is mega based

Why are people who hate part 4 always underage

doesn't even sound like you watched/read it

>part 3 was longer than it should be
tends to happen when you're a filthy animeonly.

I agree part 5 is one of the weakest parts. The pace feels very rushed like as soon as Giorno gets in the gang he kills a Capo and works directly for the boss. I expected something more out of it like fights with other gangs, internal conflicts and such. Because of that we really don't get development or backstory to 90% of the villains of this part.
They just show up with good designs and cool stands fight for a couple of chapters and then get destroyed. Worst part is that none of the minor villains did shit the 3 members of the Bucciarati group died at the hands of Diavolo, Narancia having a cheap death just to make us hate the main villain that has almost no personal grudges to the main cast.
Giorno as a protagonist is bland too. His most interesting characteristics are when he acts like Jonathan/Dio that although being cool callbacks to the original characters still feel like a weak cop-out to make the audience like him (OH LOOK HE SAID WRYYY JUST LIKE DIO).
But we all have to admit that the fights were really good when Bruno, Mista or Triss were involved. The stands were unique and fitting for assassins (Metallica was cool af shame we only saw it once).
The inclusion of Polnareff in Part 5 was a good surprise that didn't last long because he dies in no time and his destiny is terrible, trapped his soul in a turtle as long as he doesn't want to pass to the afterlife is sad. The most joyful and funny crusader got reduced to this.
Diavolo is broken not much to say about him. His backstory was kino and the double personality was handled well.
GER is a walking cheat code... zombie Bruno was... something for some reason.
Overall it's decent but nowhere near as good as other parts.

everyone i had a crazy revelation about part 5 of JoJos Bizarre Adventure: "Golden Wind" and I think it explains a long standing inconsistency in the series.

Did you ever notice how in every other season of Jojos bizarre adventure the main character had some variation of "JoJo' in their name. Starting from beginning to end:

(Jo)nathan Joestar,
(Jo)seph (Jo)estar
(Jo)taro Ku(jo)

and then... Giorno Giovanna? I know what you're thinking, the pattern breaks down. BUT say it outloud. (Gio)rno (Gio)vanna.... GIO GIO... JOJO.

pretty epic huh? anyway, thats why I think they called the series JoJos bizarre adventure. Think about it.

BUT another cool thing about part 5 specifically... you remember that vampire guy from the first season? Dio? You should because look at Gios name again..... Gio.... Dio.... half Jo, half Dio.

Let me know if you guys agree with this theory.

I don't know about everyone else but I found part 5's anime designs very unappealing
They're just so jarring
And I'm still fucking mad about giorno's suit fuck you it's blue

i liked part 5s character designs for the most part... the main cast anyway.

however... im not a fan of the more exagerated humans like polpo and the carrot headed fisher man.. if i didnt know any better i'd think i was watching a gayer anime like one piece.

It’s a stupid theory because it doesn’t explain the name of the Part 4’s time-traveling protagonist (Jo)suke Higashikata

there are exactly 3 good jojos and 2 good parts.

>(Jo)suke Higashikata
you're forgetting that suke can also be pronounced as jo ... in other words, (Jo)(jo) Higashikata

you didnt know? huh... you didnt know huh... well how about that, he didnt know.

>suke can also be pronounced as jo

the japanese hiragana that romanifation 'suke' represents can be pronounced as jo.... i wouldnt expect a mere gaijin to understand.

you should trust a superior gaijion like myself to explain the difference to you properly.

Fugo should have gotten one of Mista's ten zillion episodes, for sure. That being said, you are a dumb fuck if you think that part five's cast is bad in a world where part one and three exist.

Fugo is too OP for a hero. If Araki made him a traitor it could've been kino.
>Gioroni vs Fugo. Golden Experience VS Purple Haze. Stand that births life VS Stand that kills everything

>implying that Part 5's circus freaks can even hold a candle to the best crew in the series

Why doesn't Jobun, the largest jojolion, simply eat the other five?

Stardust Crusaders
>All the characters have their own identity and development
>All the characters have personal reasons to go after DIO
>All of them form a strong bond between each other
>They have a clear goal from the start
>Each of their sacrifices were not in vain since all of them led Jotaro one step closer to killing DIO
>Their enemies are DIO’s henchmen that he sends to slow them down until he recovers to his full strength

Passione
>Characters don’t have their own identities besides some gimmicks like the guy who’s afraid of number 4 or the girl who’s the boss’s daughter. No one besides Bruno gets any character development.
>Most of the characters have no reason to go after Diavolo besides “Bruno wants to kill him so I’ll just tag along lol”
>No sense of bond between characters, most of them don’t even like each other
>They don’t have a clear goal from the start, most of the team thinks that they are there just to safely escort the boss’s daughter to him
>Narancia’s death has no impact on the story whatsoever and doesn’t help them defeat Diavolo
>Their enemies for the first half are guys who have THE EXACT SAME GOAL as them, but for some reason they decide to kill them all instead of teaming up with them

Reminder that Bruno is the only character who is aware of Giorno's dream. None of the characters in the show ever find out that he joined the gang to take over and stop the drug trade even to their deaths.

>Their enemies for the first half are guys who have THE EXACT SAME GOAL as them, but for some reason they decide to kill them all instead of teaming up with them

not true. the goal of the hitman team was to kill the boss so that they could take over the drug routes. Whereas brunos team was essentially hand picked by him to be people who had a moral alignment against drug usage, and are motivated to rise to the top to end drug usage in their community.

Both of them wanted to kill the boss true, but that was just an obstacle in the way of both of their overall goals. they had incompatible dreams even if they temporarily did have a common enemy.

>Whereas brunos team was essentially hand picked by him to be people who had a moral alignment against drug usage, and are motivated to rise to the top to end drug usage in their community.
Lol, that's not true.

Giornos dream was already Brunos dream. While they didn't know specifically that giorno shared the team, or that they were currently working specifically to make that dream come true, they did trust in Brunos justice.

They all had an unspoken acknowledgement with Bruno that they disliked what drugs had done to their community, or at least in a Brunos justice.

It's true, you must've been sleeping during all of the flashbacks to where Bruno recruited them... they all had reasons and motivations for following Brunos justice - in nearly every single instance he hand picked them due to their character - and likewise they joined because of Brunos character.

As alot of it is unspoken, you have to be a true man to pick up on it - so its not surprising you didnt realize what was going on.

Don't you faggots get tired of "part x is such and such" threads?

>it was unspoken
That's a very elegant way of saying that it never actually happened outside of your fanfiction

Literally all parts except 2 were longer than needed.

Risotto should've won.

It's the 3rd best part but it has the worst kind of vocal fans

>the goal of the hitman team was to kill the boss so that they could take over the drug routes
Headcanon, it was never mentioned and even if it was Bruno wouldn’t know anything about it
Their reason for going after the Boss was because he killed those two fags and sent their body parts to them
>Whereas brunos team was essentially hand picked by him to be people who had a moral alignment against drug usage, and are motivated to rise to the top to end drug usage in their community.
Not true, only Bruno has a legitimate reason to dislike drugs. Giorno just one day saw a kid shooting up his arm and decided he would end it while the rest of the gang have nothing to do with drugs (Abbachio - corruption, Fugo - child molestation etc.), they just tagged along with Bruno for the lulz
>Both of them wanted to kill the boss true, but that was just an obstacle in the way of both of their overall goals
So it’s easier to find and kill the boss on your own than teaming up with a team of assassins who you can easily dispose of later?

ANN: Golden Wind has a reputation for being one of the most popular Jojo's arcs in Japan, with some of the most beloved characters. Why do you think it is so adored?

Takamitsu Sueyoshi: Araki-sensei told us that through Golden Wind, he wanted to illustrate very beautiful men, so the characters themselves are all more beautiful than before. So that's probably the biggest answer to that question.

Hiroyuki Omori: For any series, when it comes to broad appeal, the attractiveness of the protagonist is quite high on the list. In the case of Golden Wind, we already had quite a number of attractive characters to work with on the protagonist's side. As we produced the animation, once we reached the first team of antagonist hitmen, the series' popularity grew immensely. So I think one of the reasons that Golden Wind is more popular than the other Jojo's parts is probably the sheer number of such highly attractive characters.

Part 1 was 8 episodes long

'fanfiction'

let me know when the official anime adaption of the official manga is considered fanfiction, and i'll let you know when it never happened.

in other words, it did happen. the bond of the team was centered around brunos abbhorence for drugs and his focus on the community. Abbidcicto respected bruno for that, and found his own sense of JUSTICE within brunos team. Narancia values FRIENDSHIP, and respects bruno for his dedication to the community.

these are all traits that cannot exist in conjunction with drugs. while Bruno and deGiornio have a specific verbalized dream about ending the drug trade, all of the team has an UNSPOKEN understanding about ending the drug trade based on the fact that their defining values are incompatible with drugs.

this was by design, as bruno had a large amount of control in who he vetted for sending up to polpo as bruno earned a lot of trust with him after hiding his wealth in a zipper.

Yes, but Bruno is incredibly based, he and Giorno's fighting strategies make up for a lot

'headcannon'.... wrong, its not headcannon, its specifically verbalized in the japanese localization.

the reason the boss sent them the fags body parts was because they were snooping to find out the bosses true identity (because if they could kill the boss they could take over the drug routes the gang currently controls (i watched the anime in its entireity today, a GOLDEN EXPERIENCE, that allowed me to completely memorize the subtitles)

they said it specifically, re-watch it for yourself.
