Morrigan is THE Japanese anime Succubus. There was no reason for Succubus to have bat wings on their heads until Darkstalkers. And after DS, becomes common.
People stopped asking questions on why the hell bats have anything to do with being a Succubus. Morrigan was originally a vampire, the script change alters Succubus portrayal forever.
