Can you repeat that? I don't speak moon.

Tanya religious aspect was complete bullshit no point made at all it was ''hey im asshole atheist and i am a asshole because i am a atheist''

most atheist don't believe in god because they see no reason to do so, they see religion as a form of manipulation and social parasitism.
if a atheist saw a god he wouldn't deny its existence.
she/he would probably refuse to worship it because if a god has the power to stop evil and does not he is either a asshole or evil

nobody said he/she was atheist, nobody said thing was god. nobody said they were right to do their thing either.

Tanya is the only reason to watch this series.

Literally most jp mc's are shit.Of all the countries who's novels I've read (basically just 5, uk, usa, jp, kr, ch), they have the WORST mc's

yeah but the hole reincarnation and theological debate could be cut and you wouldn't loose a thing, what I'm trying to say that that aspect of the series is absolutely pointless and seriously harm the character of tanya

the world is boring and tanya and her lieutenant are the only thins worth a dam in this series

oh, that's easy. he said おい先輩あんた今おれのこの頭のことなんつった

>Dear upperclassman, could you repeat that declaration concerning this head of mine?

that's the story though, not the fake war world. if tanya wouldn't stand up to some wannabe god then her fighting an entire world would be less believable.

>she/he would probably refuse to worship it because if a god has the power to stop evil and does not he is either a asshole or evil
That's...that's what he did

Chicago school of economics

Im sorry what really bothered me was the prayer scenes, if felt forced and the dynamic with her and being X is weasted

it was forced, literally. being X said if you don't say this i'll kill you and tanya needs time to kill it back.

This

agreed that part was good but the dynamic should be more central to the story because as of right now being X has taken backstage to the shitty war

the finale/film was 100% about being x granting other people powers just to be a petty spiteful bitch. That's the dynamic.

Not only the MC, but the show as a whole failed because of how fucking boring it is.

pic unrelated
Tanya is a great anime and a series in general

The shitty war Is also Being X's doing.

Jojo part 4 is the exact opposite though. a lame premise saved by the GOAT MC

>ITT: good premises ruined by shitty MCs
>posts an anime where the MC is the premise
???

Why don't you start by posting an example OP?

Ichigo was kinda cool for the first arcs. A common Joe, bit of a thug that reacts with a backbone to things coming to him.
It works for the first arcs that are all about a ghost girl coming out of nowhere and throwing him into his job so now he's forced to go rescue her out of debt.
Once Rukia is rescued though we needed a new MC or at least change his personality to make him less vanilla, idk. Suddenly he's forced to go into an epic quest to save the world and he's just eclipsed by that situation and the rest of the cast

For me the reincarnated salaryman aspect is what put me off. I'd be fine with a bitter orphan rejecting god when it's literally in her face but some salary sociopath who brought about his own downfall loses sympathy points.
