That was its core problem. Multiple writers fighting for control of the narrative and focusing on pushing the shit they personally like and stifling the shit other writers like rather than making a good story.

To me the writing issues were too severe to consider the show as a whole okay. There were very few elements whose potential wasn't largely squandered, which wasn't the case with at least some parts of other Aikatsu series.
