After his village was struck by a mysterious disease our MC must travel deep into the snowy mountain wilderness in search of the rare ingredients needed to make the cure. Along the way he must use his skills as a hunter to set traps and hunt the animals in order to survive his journey.
He also get a tomboy sidekick as he goes.
A boy falls in love with a girl...
A mysterious disease is spreading killing thousands a day until an improbable cure is found: the combination of a skirt and spats. Now MC-kun needs to do his part to repopulate the earth, but dating has become a dangerous game of trap roulette.
A tomboy and a trap are a couple who go climbing together before heading home to hot chalky sex. On the way home one day, they stumble across a magical girl bleeding out in the street, her skin, muscle and bones intact but her internal organs completely missing. The magical girl has drawn a circle with her blood, and once the tomboy and trap are both standing within the circle, she whispers a spell.
Tomboy and trap have to navigate the magical world to find the internal organs for the magical girl before they can return, in a journey that takes them months and involves back muscles and climbing but only takes seconds in the real world.
Some interdimensional timelord stumbles across Earth in the past and isekais the entire Japanese islands with their population into an ocean in a High Fantasy world where flora and fauna reign surpreme, and while native civilization still exists, it's far and in-between. The catch is, the version of Japan that was isekai'd is Feudal Japan.
The Japanese adapt to their new lifestyle, and the story starts two generations after the Japanese arrive on this world, which is still largely dangerous and unexplored. The story revolves around a young aspiring Japanese samurai on the border between teenagehood and adulthood, and his eclectic party ranging from cute girls to bro-tier men, and their Emperor-mandated task to explore this new world, record their findings, and find the fabled elusive fantasy civilizations that live deep within the seemingly endless enchanted forests and jungles.
Also he has a cute tomboy sister.
I've been thinking about an idea for an anime and it does have a trap. Although I feel like the more I think about it the more plotholes I find. Maybe writing it down will make it more clear.
The story would start in a small poor village in a medieval fantasy setting. The main character is a young man who goes out to work in the fields in the morning. Then during the day he sees a few horse pulled carts accompanied by mounted soldiers enter the village holding the kingdom's flag. He goes to check out what's happening and an officer looking man reads an edict that they're recruiting soldiers under the local general's command. He figures that it beats farming turnips so he raises his hand to join, along with a few other lads in the village. They go and sit in the carts that already have some recruits from other villages. They chat on the way and get brought to a fortress where they get some equipment and start training.
After a little while they get the command to join the general's troops in defeating a hydra in the area. A decently sized army then starts fighting the hydra, one if it's heads grabs a horserider and tosses the horse at the main character, making him stuck under the horse.
It seems like they're about to win and the hydra's chest starts swelling up with a red color, charging up a fire breath attack. Seeing that a young flustered mage in the army chants a fire ball spell. The general shouts at him to stop but it was too late and the fireball connects with the hydra's chest, causing a massive explosion that blows everyone nearby to bits. The survivors run back towards the castle and the horse that was on the mc had most of it blown off but managed to protect him. He manages to climb out and sees the general's remains, he was wearing a mythril plate chest that protected his torso but his head and lower body got blown off. He figures that he might as well just snatch that armor, then under it finds the noble house's insignia that the general belongs to.
and...??
Alternate universe where the Vikings managed to get to the Japanese islands after successfully colonizing North America.
