>watching saint seiya in netflix
>get to the episode with this nigga
>nonsensical ideals
>retarded logic
>attempts to kill childhood friend because she isnt besties with her sister anymore
>goes out like a bitch
Seriously wtf is his problem? Was he jealous?
Watching saint seiya in netflix
Filler characters don't usually tend to have big logic behind them
He thought he was accomplishing his duty and helping Hasguard.
How does his armor work?here does all the legs go?
Seriously.
>mfw watching the 2018 series
The plot went retarded really fucking fast. What the fuck were they thinking
Filler to extende thw series so Auther ends the next arc in the meantime
Asgard was mostly ok for a filler, Mime and Zeta bros were good, Siegfried was cool but superficial, the rest is in the middle.
I think it only lasted 12 episodes, so we're not talking about the same thing here.
I'm talking about this one, yeah the one that changes Shun to female.
wait, I thought Op was talking about the original series, seeing it's available on Netflix in the US, now. There are Asgard characters in in the Netflix show too?
>so Auther ends the next arc
except he didn't.
They had to post-pone the final episode by 2 weeks because Kurumada was too slow.
So, there is actually Asgard character in the Netflix show? Before the the end of the sanctuary arc? What the fuck?
Alberich was a nice change of tune, a utter bastard whose main weapon was being smart
BTW, a long-standing argument among the StS fans was about Mime's power-level, with his strikes being compared to Saga's and then getting two massive power-ups
Can you confirm?
I have said it before, I will say it again, they should have genderbend Ikki instead of Shun. Would have made more sense for Ikki to not wear mask.
I'd say mime is a bit weaker than Saga. Ikki manage to avoid his first wave of attack rather easily, but only because Saga had used a similar attack against him previously. But Saga still made a lot more damage to Ikki.
Well, of course Mime made less damages to Ikki: Ikki had both a stronger Cloth and had already seen the attack with Saga
And have Emeraldas being genderbent into Harlock
I am talking about how he avoided being hit quite easily. Even with having seen the attack previously Saga's one is still powerful. Seeing he avoided all of mime's attacks, I'd say it's less powerful than saga's one.
The only thing I'll give the Netflix show credit for is that they removed the retarded plot point that all female knights must wear a mask at all times, and if a man ever sees their face they have to either murder them or fall in love with them. It was oddly sexist for an organization whose leader was a woman.
The point of it was to play out the mystery between marine and Seiya's sister.
Also, this is the sanctuary we are talking about. An old institutuion, with old rules. Of course it was going to have rule like that.
My guess is they made it so Saint in training would behave and they thought the two think a young man is afraid of is dying and commitment.
>It was oddly sexist for an organization whose leader was a woman.
Most of the time, the sanctuary s run by a man, the Pope, with Athena only incarnating herself every X time. Most of the time, it's run by men. the inclusion of female Saints is also fairly recent.
>The point of it was to play out the mystery between marine and Seiya's sister.
Which the Netflix show still keeps by having only Seiya's not sister and nobody else have the mask.
>watching saint seiya in netflix
>in netflix
what is the point of adding that part? Why is it important that it is on Netflix?
He was talking specifically about the Netflix show. I think. I am not sure. I am still surprised a God Warrior show up before the end of the Sanctuary arc. I don't know, I didn't watch it.
I heard that the Netflix show has much worst offenders than Shun's gender. Is that true?
You literally cannot enjoy saint seiya if you think about anything at all
Either that or you read the manga.
The manga doesnt make a ton of sense and the drawings are too chaotic
Like characters age, power levels, the usual
13 year old.
No, dont think so. That shit only has 12 episodes and was already canceled.
>Greek organisation ran by an equivalent of the Catholic Pope bent on gathering young orphaned boys from all around the world
>"wtf why do they hide the women behind masks?"
>those dare go against Saga's mighty laws will be eliminated
Wasn't Shun a massive chad on the origina, I remember all the girls dropping their panties for him
Didn't it get new episodes?
