Dr.Stone

Now that the boat arc is over and the kingdom of science finally reached America, what do you predict will happen once they reach landfall? Will they find more tribes? Native indian tribes? Are we fallout New Vegas now?

cowboy shit

fuck that was fast
i'm hype for the murica arc

They might find crops pretty easily, but because natives planted them. I want to believe they'll find descendants of people that broke free like 500 years ago.

>inb4 they have petrification devices

Reviving of Bob the farmer and his cowgirl daughter Shirley.

Thumb makes it look like she has a turd curling out of her ass

Inagaki will deliver no doubt. He puts a lot of effort in the names.

I'm more interested how they'll go to South America. They want to go to hueland but west parts are all mountain ranges. The only way to get to Hueland is through Panama.

How many on the ship and how high are the mountains, if they have the hot air balloon still they might be able to ferry everybody across in a dozen trips

Explanation on the use of time because I think it wasn't explained too well.
Get the diference of time between Japan + current location. Each hour difference is fifteen degrees across the earth, so three hours differences means that they have travelled 45 degrees.
This 'longitude problem' (as it was dubbed in the 1700s is what led to the creation of analog clocks.

I dunno if ferrying people with the hot air balloon would work. Only three people at a time can fit in it and one of those people would have to be Ryusui since he knows how to pilot it. And that's not taking into account the equipment they'll need to bring like food and supplies. Maybe they'll make some improvements to the mobile lab. We already know it is semi aquatic. Maybe Senku can upgrade it for mountain terrain.

They'll revive Gun Jesus, and he'll convert all of their weapons to some obscure French round.

>antagonistic group revealed
>at least one or two of them will be basically good, superskilled people
>will be brought on as new crew members at end of arc to replace crew members left behind
>and then pushed to the side as Senku's people collection grows
Oh, wait, you wanted predictions.

Speaking of leaving people behind. Senku said they were going to establish new cities. Who of the Kingdom of Science do you think he'll leave behind to help with "Corn City" when they move on to the next place?

The farming king already has his crown.
His skills are pretty much redundant with what Senku presently has anyway. Get ready for another year-long exile.

They don't have enough space circle jerk on board right now.
They're gonna revive Not-Elon Musk and Not-Chris Hadfield obviously.

I dunno if Taiju could take another year separated from Senku.

The air baloon can only carry a handful of people

They should revive some scientish chick to make Kohaku jealous

How do you think Kohaku would express her jealousy? Attempt to intimidate the competition? Try to impress Senku and prove she's the better woman?

>Yfw they leave Nikki behind

The anime was great, is the manga worth getting into, or no?

bazinga

Yup, give it a try.

manga is better

I started with the manga, thought the anime was meh. I suggest you read it.

Dr.Stone Chapter 172: Senku invents rifling

>>and then pushed to the side as Senku's people collection grows
But Chrome was relevant in this chapter.

Probably be more agressive towards Senkuu and try to help out with the thoughtprocess to establish dominance.
Or just straddle Senkuu infront of everyone to mark what belongs to her.

Nah man, thats the big threat. The revived American isn't the ultimate farmer its the ultimate gunsmith. Lever actions rifles and revolvers most likely, or a Brotherhood of Steel type group that found an old stash of pre stone weapons that the Kingdom of Science just can't muscle through

why should they even find corn anyway? if the fields are not properly mantained, forest would take over
im also not sure if usual corn is F1 therefore doesnt reproduce

Doesn't moving locations mean they have to restart building another giant ass iron production furnace? And water wheel?

Wouldn't it be easier to just live a quiet life in japan?

So the OP was right? We Fallout New Vegas now?

Could be a wild corn equivilent, like the cherry trees earlier.

yellowstone conveniently blew up creating a sea path to nebraska

The corn used today does not reproduce on its own. From this they'll either find some proto-corn or people that kept it alive.
They need tons upon tons of alcohol, corn just has bigger yield and us is a bigger farmarea.

Senku wants to go to the moon to stop the why-man and then resurrect the entire world. For that, he needs food. How is he going to support global trade routes when they only have like one ship? I don't know.

>easier
Yes, without a doubt, which is why they aren't doing that.

I assume they brought along the materials to help them get those things started. At the very least, they probably made up a bunch of tools to help them built what they need once they find the resources. Staying in Japan would've been nice but Senku's determined to save all of humanity.

Well yes, but Senkuu wants his Moon-chan.

to process it you need massive implants as well, not sure how the thing is going to get solved
what they could store on the boat is an irrelevant quantity
unless he plans to return with a nuclear submarine by the time they are done

Given they are likely making landfall in California its more Fallout 2

How many Americans will be alive? Senku only has the village because of the astronauts, which didn't land in America. How many American super geniuses escaped the stone, and figured out their equivalent of the miracle fluid, and revived enough people to survive, but not enough to be killed? I assume people in bunkers and such also got stoned, since it seems to travel through buildings already.

>not Oregon
We have cherry trees, and a river that goes right up into Canada! It's a way better place to land! It seems to straight forward!

i hope none, i dont want to waste another 30 chapters on a pseudo civilization that will job anyway

That's why they're making a city. The whole production of corn alcohol is US. They'll bring some along but leave the production behind to do its thing and accumulate.

Wouldn't sugar cane be a better option than corn?
