well you'd think the stakes would be quite a bit lower for the next episode since we just finished a two-parter, but because of the seed cliffhanger the pace might be maintained for another episode

You forgot about WT, since it took Hatano. Doremi will be done by the time of its original release date (only delayed since Miracle Leap was pushed back to its original slot) and the Sailor Moon movies are a collab with Deen, and we don't know how much. It's possible that that's what's been holding Ohta hostage though.
