A relentless personality is when someone pushes themselves like crazy. It isn't exactly a positive trait, her behavior during Sister's arc, Jailbreaker arc, Railgun SS1, Railgun SS2 showed that we'll enough. To be honest, I don't get where this "spoiled rich brat" label for Mikoto comes from when people who have that much amount of money usually have no sense of humility in them unlike Mikoto.

If say some Mikoto suffered before then the Sister's arc and the emotional blow that comes with it wouldn't have been as good. It's the first time she had to look how naive she was.
