Do boomers have good taste?
ANN (1998-2020)’s top ranked anime
> FMA:B, Your Name, Death Note, Code Geass
No
> No Eva, No Utena, No Cardcaptor, No Lain
Genuinely surprising, I thought boomers loved these shows
Better than most 3x3s
what's bottom middle?
Marimite
40% of any "top list":
Entry Level classics
The other 40%:
Recent flavour of the year shows.
The remaining 20%
Actual good shows that have any value
marimite and mushishi are on there twice then
Code Geass is legitimately awful
They have safe taste. It's not a bad taste but it's not adventurous. Which makes sense since it is a popularity aggregate.
ANN? You mean those people who write reviews of anime then admit they've never watched them?
Different seasons just like Code Geass
Why isn’t Madoka on here?
It' s honestly boring & loses it's appeal once you rewatch it
>Marimite present
At least they got something right.
CGeass, Mushishi, Bebop, Mononoke Hime and AnoHana are masterpieces.
Needs Tutu, Planetes and Sora no Woto though.
Mine is better
Anohana is legitimately one of the worst-written dramas I've ever seen. I would rather watch my grandma's soap operas.
S2, S3 & S4 of MariMite were all in the top 24
Madoka is great but inherently polarizing, meaning that it has a stronger hatedom than anything on here other than maybe Death Note/Code Geass.
> Anohana
> Geass
> Good
Hahahahaa
one of these is pre-98 but either way my taste is better than theirs
Is Season 2 really THAT much better than the first season?
Not good.
Masterpieces.
>Anohana
No. That was a piece of shit that Yas Forums tricked me into watching
This, except for me it was Code Geass & Evangelion that Yas Forums tricked me into watching
Because ANN is filled with almost normalfags pretending they like anime, remember that when first airing, ANN reviewers considered Madoka to be a Nanoha rip-off.
>the Claymore anime
All your picks, invalidated.
Here's the same list without the manga/whatever adaptations. What do you think of it Yas Forums?
>Mirai Nikki
Nope.
Ano Hana is pure fucking garbage.
Okay its alright, but the amount of praise it gets is ridiculous. The premise itself was interesting but the melodrama made it feel like baby's first drama with an incredibly dispassionate attempt at portraying grief and loss.
I am fine with abloo bloo stories but it honestly felt so forced.
Remove Shit Geass & Shit Hana and it would be pretty good
The fact that i see Kimi no na wa in the top 10, make it easy to throw it in the trash.
I really don't get why people like the kenshin ovas.
