I just finished watching this anime and I have to say this was a major downgrade from Part 3
>No cohesion, things just happen >The Jojo of this part takes a backseat for most of this part (also the only one not to defeat the villain) >People make retarded decisions for absolutely no reason except to make fights (why is Surface trying so hard to kill Jotaro even though not killing him has absolutely NO consequences and neither of them never even met) >Araki bullshitted up a villain in the second half as a way to end the story >Shoehorn in a Dio connection out of nowhere (oh wow the main villain's dad conveniently worked for Dio and has something that can bullshit up enemies)
Why? Because the stands weren't complicated doesn't count mind you
Tyler Long
part 4 was still watchable, part 5 is a disaster
Carson Murphy
What? Part 5 is the only part which is really good, did you just read the scans back in the day?
Colton Brown
Part 3 >All the characters have their own identity and personal reasons to go after Dio >All characters are extremely nobles and live up to their Crusaders name. >All of them form a strong bond between each other >Cross the world in a road trip across a dozen different countries in less than 50 days, giving the story a clear goal and stakes from the start and representing that with both the time factor and the character's position relative to Egypt, then Cairo >The road trip aspect also means the setting of the story is unlike most manga, >Climax in the story have half the cast dying and through their sacrifice they save the world from arguably one of the most powerful stand user of his time >Not only is the main villain unforgettable, he his hyped throughout all the part and his power feels suitably powerful
Now part 4 >Wider cast, but most characters don't actually interact with each others >Characters who were quite willing to kill or otherwise mutilate innocents are beaten and show up next time as friends for no reason >Almost no sense of bond between characters, except when Koichi is involved >Setting is a boring japanese small town and for half the part the red thread is unclear and we don't know what exactly is the big finish we're heading toward >Exact same fucking locations as nearly every other battle manga taking place in japan >Only two guys die in the heroes side about two thirds into the part and they're not mentioned after, no one dies at the climax except the villain >Kira just act like an antagonist of the week with no charisma, only redeeming quality is his Killer Queen design and the fact that he asspulls new powers, meaning readers are discouraged from involving themselves in the story
Also all the heroes stands from Part 4 are uglies as sin except The Hand. This guy's alright.

No, stands were a good addition. The problem is that it's a fucking bore with shitty engurish humor and lazy writing
Samuel Scott
The humor was far above part 4. It's what makes the characters and the part iconic. Hell, there isn't even half the connection between the characters in part 4.
Kakyoin only went because he wanted to fuck Jotaro's mom.
Landon Edwards
Thus he had the best reason to go.
Zachary Thompson
>Characters who were quite willing to kill or otherwise mutilate innocents are beaten and show up next time as friends for no reason part 4 went full anime, nowonder it feels weird for a jojo
Thomas Adams
Cool, but why does there need to be a dedicated thread each and every day to say that?
Jason Lopez
>nowonder it feels weird for a jojo This. It isn't a JoJo part but a mix of tired anime tropes.
Jose Long
I guess that's why part 4 is so popular with normalfags.
Sebastian Morales
It just started happening on an almost daily basis when the dub finished airing on Toonami.
Samuel Adams
Retards hating on part 4 have memory span of a goldfish, have to be reminded every day
Joseph Richardson
>a mix of tired anime tropes. That’s every part of Jojo.
