Can you tell an artists gender from their art style?
Can you tell an artists gender from their art style?
Yes and I don't care.
In case of Pochi I thought there was always something distinctly feminine before I knew. There certain styles, the typical shojo, that are very obvious but a lot are less so.
Nope. The world's been successfully lied to about an artist's gender countless times and no attempt to guess based on artstyle will be more accurate than a coin toss.
There's at least 48 genders.
For me it's more about the clothes than art style. If an artist understand clothing, especially from a fetish point of view, it's more probably a woman.
Too many male artists draws track suits with panty lines, for example-
I don't know. I always thought there was always something "female" to Pochi's art though.
you can generally tell by how they draw dicks
I think I do.
Give a bulging dick to that Shub-Niggurath and she's perfect.
No I can't
women generally draw more anatomically realistic females whilst men go full coomer
>Can you tell an artists gender from their art style?
I can't.
Yes. Pic related.
And big fat balls.
How can anyone tell?
There are more males artists than female ones so it is not exactly a coin toss
Some are impossible, but some are really obvious.
women usually draw more realistically proportioned while men change proportion for artistic purposes, to empathise impact or similar.
>there are more male artist than female ones
what
does anyone else feel a little bit cheated when they find the artist of some cutesy moe shit is some middle aged dude?
I feel like more artists have a "feminine" or "masculine" feeling to them, but a lot of the time it's hard to pinpoint exactly what it is. Fashion is definitely a big one though, female artists usually give their characters more fashionable/well thought out outfits, hairstyles and accessories, while male artists usually just slap on a short skirt and as many unnecessary hair decs as possible for their female characters and make their male ones incredibly plain.
Though some artists have a pretty ambiguous style, I still have no idea if pic related's artist is a guy or girl
For me it was the way she drew the male characters, tbqh. Yuu-kun, basically.
Yeah, this for example was definitely drawn by a woman.
how do you know?
Men tend to draw ugly males, women tend to draw pretty guys
I just know Fei is a woman.
Fei is confirmed a Taiwanese woman.
Has anyone reviewed to see if shotacon is more prevalent among male or female artists? And I guess Lolicon too while we're at it?
but how do you know from the drawing?
Men (and chestlets) will never know the pain of not being able to see your telephone because of how big your tits are.
Fei's art style is fairly distinct, same thicc style pretty consistently but with different hair each time
In h stuff it's even worse, it's just hotter if the artist is also female. If the artist who drew cute and hot girls getting lewd is also a girl, then she must be like, double lewd, right?
Usually an illustrator would have some form of sexual bias, where they idolize the other sex. I tend to draw curvy slender women and people can tell I like nipples.
I feel kind of dumb when most of the loli shit is made by mid aged jap women.
Because of the fat. You can see that she has a little bit of stomach fat and it isn't fetishized. If it would be fetishized like for example one from Kunaboto, it would be a man.
who draws the best men, females or gay guys?
The best hentai accurately captures this, God I love women.
females, repressed perv mangaka idolize men better than men.
You can recognize it most of the time but it has more to do with the art style they learned to draw than gender. A lot of women use a "masculine" art style because they grew on shounen manga, while barely any male mangaka does girl comics nowadays. It's also hard to distinguish in demographics with big gender diversity like seinen and porn.
It's between women and gay men, but it really depends on what someone considers attractive in a man. Women will draw swishier pretty-boy types while gay men are more likely to go full muscle man bara.
If it's good it's a woman
Women would naturally be better at visual arts than men, because drawing is a 'girly,' thing to do, which is why capeshit is lame because big macho shemales arent attractive to me.
Straight men because they don't have bias. But only good artists of course.
some men might not be chestlets...
FMA is a really easy example of drawn and written by a woman.
you can easily tell
more like 'tummylets,'???
