When is it appropriate to buy physical manga? Also, post what is on your bookshelves
When is it appropriate to buy physical manga? Also, post what is on your bookshelves
When there are no raws available of your waifu's manga so you buy them your self to scan
>When is it appropriate to buy physical manga?
It's only appropriate if you want to buy them.
I don't have a lot of manga books physically.
>all 4 Another volumes
>a few MHA volumes
>2 Mystica Bibliotheca volumes
>5 Yotsuba! volumes
>some Polish translated manga about Lovecraft's stories
And more I can't be bothered to write down.
>When is it appropriate to buy physical manga?
When you want to?
Do you think the cops are going to burst in if you buy manga or something? Do what you want.
>oh no, I will get called pleb by Yas Forums police
When you live on your own and have the financial means to do so. Also, you do not have people come around.
How are the Translations in Sunny? I was reading some of the rips and the Translations didn't feel natural.
>appropriate
just buy whenever you feel like?
It’s your money, do whatever you want with it.
>that collection
all trash
When you feel ashamed of posting someone else's collection on Yas Forums.
>When is it appropriate to buy physical manga?
When they are worth the money
It depends on who publishes it and if the paper/translation quality is good enough
In cases where the volumes are ripped online there is no need to buy them though
My current collection. Started around this time last year.
>Also, you do not have people come around.
NOOO I'M AFRAID OF MY HOBBIES NOOOOOOO
why is nu Yas Forums full of 12 y/o's ?
This
I used to buy manga which had less copies sold, the rarest ones, preferably those whose publication ended, so I can buy a second hand the whole serie once rather than one volume by one volume.
So I haven't got yet One Piece, Hunter X Hunter, etc...
you're very based in my book
>kozure ookami
Absolute fucking madman.
Are you the OP ?
He has good taste.
Buying anime and buying manga are not the same thing. You will be called a faggot for buying dubbed anime all the time. That could never happen with manga.
I'm close to finishing reading Monogatari, I'll have to buy a new bookshelf with the next series I buy. Its tough finishing a long series when I only have 30 minutes a day
You have much Junji Ito. Is it still sold ?
In France, they are all sold out.
Wut? France is literally the biggest hub for manga right after Japan. How's it all sold out?
They was published and much more of Junji Ito's work was published in France than the US but all of them are currently out of stock and they haven't been reissued until now because they didn't sold well.

Damn. Junji ito is like the bestseller in the US. While I'm myself from India...They are never out of print. Sorry for you. If you understand English properly then yoy could buy them from Bookdepository in English although they might be more expensive or just look into some used manga store locally or try ebay.
How do you have only 30 minutes a day when you have plently of time to shitpost/lurk on a?
I rarely buy manga. All the manga except for Shana and Shin Sekai Yori were given to me by a friend.
I only have like the death note box set, Solanin,Opus and a few random volumes of random manga. Honestly I'll start buying them again when I'm fluent in Japanese. It's an eyesore to witness how small the number of licensed series in the US is when compared to France. Companies like Viz media put the least amount of effort in Translations while the actual quality and texture of the book could be much better.
I have a friend who lives in Japan and i could also order from Mandarake or rakuten jp.
Thats my break at work, using my phone to shitpost is a pain.
