I doubt he'll lose. The scenarios for him losing are
1. He goes up against a monster and gets beaten, which would just be a rehash of the Agito fight
2. He goes up against someone of relatively equal skill and loses, which what's the point of doing that other than to make Okubo's character into a sad joke?

I can see Lihito losing again if he puts up a really good fight against a ridiculous opponent. Gensai clown'd him in Asura, so him being able to stand his ground, win or no win, against a similar enemy would be enough growth for Lihito to be satisfied with his own progress and be still be respectable. I agree with Okubo though, he can't lose without ruining his character.

Unlike Ashura where the tournament was the main plot and the coup was the subplot in Omega the tournament will be the subplot while Worm shit will be the main plot. The tournament will be used to show how much the Kengan fighters grew these last 3 years after realizing how inferior they are to Beard and getting into the TRUE MARTIAL ARTIST SPIRIT while Purgatory fighters do it for the money and conditions

The only Kengan fighters losing will be Akoya for killing his opponent in a Justice sperg out and Ryuki because he can't win without killing and also doesn't care about the tournament

I honestly want the Kengan Association to lose this tournament.
Goateyes looks like a 5d chessmaster, and a revenge arc involving Metsudo mindfuckery sounds great.
Also a great opportunity to have time for Koga to grow.

Other than Yumigahama, this is an assumption. Who knows why they are at purg specifically. On the purg side we have: Samato who just likes to fuck shit up. Le Banner who says he prefers fatal matches, and a worm who definitely is going to try to kill Ohma or Ryuki.

Not to mention we have people like Toku2 on Keng who don't even like fighting and are just in it for the money.

Jose is from Purgatory too, and he ended up being a pretty cool guy.
I know the way its set up its making look like Purgatory are the bad guys, but remember back in early Asura when we didn't know the fighters.
