Because it's more appealing to a general audience than yaoi.
Not a yuri show yet, but it's a yuri manga.

I assume it has something to do with the Jews.
A superficial analysis would indeed bring you to this conclusion, but if you look deeper, you'll see one big fat inconsistency. I'll reddit-space it for emphasis:
YURI DOESN'T SELL
A jew would never involve itself with something that doesn't sell, and while in the west all sorts of sodomy sells like hotcakes, yuri remains unprofitable enough for even the longest-running magazines to get canned and reorganized now and then. This is another testament to the purity of yuri - not only is it pure as a form of romance and a form of art, it's also refreshingly Judenrein.
Yuri makes any anime better.
yurifags shouldn't be allowed to like black haired bishoujos. They don't deserve Kaguya especially.
I think there's the same amount of actual yuri that there has always been. It's just that the fake yuri, or yuri baiting has become pretty popular with the authors and/or editors.
Because it's popular. Yuri basically replaced harem.
I understand yurib8 but what constitutes "fake yuri"?
Not that guy, but in my classification, the closest thing would be the "Bait" subset on picrelated, as distinct from "Yuribait" subsets.
Just a term I use to describe the nonsense that goes on in series like the Railgun anime.
Railgun as far as I know has yuri characters and yuri fanservice. Yuribait is most commonly used to describe a series that promises it will have at least yuri subtext, but in the end the girls are straight and the series never delivered. Tther than the anime of Hibike Euphorium I'm not sure if we have other good examples of this.
A pretty large percentage of anime and manga that feature romantic relationships have at least a small amount of gay shit going on, Hibike is just one of the most blatant about blue-balling /u/ (and is still doing it with the most recent movie).
