I love Yor but I think her character isn't getting enough attention. I was hoping for a LOT more assassin reflex showing up here and there, less "LOOK I'm clearly a killing machine right in front of you".
Also she's always treated as dumb godlike muscle, not as an assassin who can methodically kills a full room with just knives, predicting every shoot and countering any move before erasing every witness

It's hard to mix in the murdering with the comedic tone of the series in a way that makes sense. Yor is pretty messed up when you get down to it, if axeman will address that it's going to be at a later stage in the series.

I disagree, I said assassin's reflex. So I expected it to be choke full of
"My bad! did I casually got this knife close to your neck, I'm so sorry"
"Don't surprise me like that!" (throwing a pen like a weapon)
"Did I surprise you?" (casually sneaking upon someone who thought he was on high alert)
Doing a "scary face" to scare a (normal) dog away and frightening the hell out of anybody I mean in a casual context, less in the situation where it happened)
Triggering someone with her deadly aura just being in the room
Casually answering figure of speech like "Pfff who know what could kill you?" because she actually counted everything in the room that cool

I'm sure I could find more.

Also displaying KNOWLEDGE about weapon, instead of it just being Loyd shtick

Axeman has the tendency to dewll into suffering and desperation.
Rin-san is forcing him to keep the mood
cheerful, which is why Yor has been barely addressed
i mean, sewing Agent Penguin mouth last chapter is basically what you are asking for.
You just expect something more omnious, rather than played as a joke. There tons of instance of Yor acting or thinking like an assassin, but they are all played out for comedy sake

More ominous yes and more subtle yet deadly, instead of, well, not "overplayed" but literally screaming "I'm obviously a killing machine" played with BRUTE FORCE.
Lloyd get plenty of those with small attention to detail and what he do exactly.
But Yor? It's hard to believe she can do her job and no one arrest her. Not asking for a ninja but a more like a deadly Kabuki in dress.

Maybe the artist don't want her to intrude into Twilight territory but so far he is getting all the superpower, not even threatened by a drunk Princess of thorn

She's pure skill and instinct, where as twilight is training and intellect. Also her boss probably sends a cleaning crew after she leaves.

I know that clearly seem to be the dynamic the author want. But I think It's limiting to give him all tricky superpower and just making her look dumb but absurdly deadly.

Pretty much what I'm not seeing. So far she's been pretty bad at everything except displaying ridiculous force and sometime she does fancy move.
Even if she is not a "good wive" she should have shown other byproduct of her job, like being able to SEW FOR SELF SURGERY or stuff like that.

At this point even Anya displayed more knowledge and trick than her what with making an IED bomb she read in the mind of someone just a minutes or so before.

By the way, am I the only one of what Anya could grow as with parent like hers?
