Blue Lock

Is this the best currently running sports manga?

I was just reading this yesterday. Its super fucking cool. Although it threw me off the Chigiri is a guy. I saw the cover with him on it and thought he was a cute girl and picked up the series. I feel cheated. Also echo is a fucking stupid cartoon character. But everything else is genuinely great. I hope the MC gets corrupted like in Whiplash

What's up with the scanlations, did someone pick it up?

Yes, it seems Inept Bastards picked this up.

It's up there.

It was fun but I put it on hold since scanlations were so damn slow. Happy to hear someone else picked it up.

I prefer Moon Land but Blue Lock is also great.

Now that is GREAT tank cover. Instantly eye-catching, great composition, fun colour scheme. Doesn't tell me much about the character, but it's solid enough that it doesn't need to. 9/10

the premise is so fucking stupid

>japan can't win because they lack a uber striker, I'll do this amazing plan to grow one

>what about literally every other position on the field boss?

>...

>why some of those guys are playing even fucking GK or defenders boss? How are they improving their forward ability?

art is nice at least

sayonara watashi no cramer is way fucking better and the author at least understand basic football tactics

Okay cool

Theu even mention that for their plan to work, there still has to be synergy with the striker, not so that they work as equals but so that they can support their goalmaker. So they acknowledge that the other positions are crucial to make a trophy winning team, but they for some reason think it's secondary
Also
>Well we're only making ONE striker good enough
>what do you mean making one is stupid? What do you mean the whole plan falls on itself if our only striker gets incapacitated?

Daiya no Ace for me.

The problem is indeed dumb but I don't really mind, it's fun.

It's more like battle action manga disguising as sport manga.

This. Also why is bachira so cute

No. Days is the Best sport manga

didn't they bring in a star midfielder as a plot point? Who said the only reason he'd come back to japan was because of the blue lock program?

anime when

yeah the dude was playing on Madrid kek
the only problem I see is that they are on the worst group and their rivals are super op

Haikyuu is still running

and?

>1st Selection is finally fully scanlated
>2nd Selection is being scanlated and we already have Isagi, Bachira and Nagi teaming-up

What a good time to be a Blue Lock fan

Isagi is based. Very good MC

Anons, Blue Lock is a really good manga but is unknown in Yas Forums because is a spokon and scanlations were slow until now.

Now that 1st Selection is over, what would you think about creating reading Blue Lock threads where all the chapters are dumped? That helped Act-age and Jujutsu to get known last year

>Isagi, Bachira and Nagi
Enjoy the whole one match it lasts.
Then Yoichi starts reaching super gary stu levels.

They lost to the boss team and the boss team takes Bachira, you're welcome

What I don't get is why any one would sign up for blue lock (especially professionals) when they outright say that they'll get blacklisted if they slip up

I really hope the blacklisting stuff is another Ego ruse

;_;
