It's entertaining.
It's not deep. it's not very well written, but it goes nuts deep into every decision it makes with the full intention of being entertaining, and I appreciate that.
It has a really likeable, nutty anti-hero main character who's a nutty chuuni, makes mistakes, and has an excellent evil laugh. What's not to like?
