Sorry if this has been asked before, but I wanted to ask this:

Does Yukino really have a dependency issue? Or is it just a lie spread by Haruno to screw with Hachiman and Yukino? Maybe I just have poor reading comprehension, but to me, it doesn't seem Yukino isn't all that dependent on Hachiman.

Here's the S3 OP for taking time to answer my question:files.catbox.moe/76biq1.webm

8man and Yukino entire relation was codependent. Both of them came to terms with it in volume 12 and 13.

It had minor elements of co-dependency but it was not as bad as they made it out to be. They just used codependency as an excuse to run away from their current problems. They shouldn't have been giving up on their feelings for each other just because of this. They decide to embrace it in volume 14. Haruno thought that if hachiman and yukino became more co-dependent then they would only suffer but she immediately regreted her actions when she saw that yukino was emotionally destroyed after giving up on her feelings for hachiman and that them staying apart from each other is gonna do more harm to them than good.

I'm never gonna understand what normalfags have against codependent relationship. It's better than being a sad piece of shit. I don't know what season 3 is gonna be about, but I'm sure Hachiman and Yukino are gonna be happier like that

user, a codependent relationship is a toxic relationship. Yukino and 8man needed to have a relationship that is normal in societal sense.

I wouldn’t even say their relationship had any elements of codepedent or co-dependency. if anything their relationship is something more like, mutual giving. The problem is that there is no such thing as a completely genuine and selfless relationship, like Hachiman wants, but being in one that accepts that is good.

8man loved her just the way she is so nothing is matter

>codependent relationship is a toxic relationship
>relationship that is normal in societal sense
And I'm telling you I think that' bullshit

Hachiman doesn't want a normal societal relationship, but one that "drags the hand you took to the bottom of the ocean" whatever that means.

How is it bullshit? The relationship they had before was extremely unhealthy.

>aren't friends
>only talk to each other at club
>don't have each others phone number
>both are capable of changing their own clothes, making their own meals and cleaning themselves
>both don't live together and have the best grades in the school
>"""co-dependent""" relationship
This always seemed like some hack tier writing from Watari to create fake drama.

Wait so why didn't 8man and Yukino start dating much earlier?
What was stopping them exactly?
This doesn't make any sense.

Easy answer: because watari is a hack just like every single japanese writer and abides by the un-written rule that main couple can't get together until the end of the final novel.

Other answer: because Yukino and Hachiman were too scared to ask each other out due to being broken loners, first time falling in love, worried about what their friends think, worried about rejection, yada yada yada, etc etc etc.

So this is all Yui's fault?

Part of the reason but you shouldn't blame other people because of what you can't do, that's the excuse of a weak minded person. Hachiman is the best when it comes to making excuses and Yukino isn't too far behind in that regard.

>you shouldn't blame other people
You're right. It's my fault that these fictional characters from another universe had problems.

That makes sense.

>"drags the hand you took to the bottom of the ocean" whatever that means.
Sounds toxic. How can you support that.

but it's GENUINE!!!

No, it's watari's fault for dragging out these problems just to create the illusion of drama.

I thought it was the editor?

I don't think that's the editors job, its the person that says "Watarin-san, we need 6+ volumes so we can make a new anime season and get people to buy more merchandise!"

Why didn't they got for a movie finale? It would have been better.

This. There wouldn't have been any harem pandering in the movie.

Hachiman asked to be her friend twice and she rejected it. The blame is on Yukino.

To be fair 8man had nothing to lose.

I still don't get why Yukino didn't want to be his friend.

Did they skip Yukino crying?

When I saw the raws months ago they didn't have her crying after her "argument" Hachiman in the student council office.

Why did they remove it? It's vital.

They keep all of Yui's crying scenes and take out Yukino's, the mangaka doesn't even try to hide his bias.

What's Yukino thinking at this moment.

How romantic. What chemistry

Because. The mangaka. Is. A. Hack

she's wondering if hikigaya-kun will let her suck his dick if she wins the bet

I wonder if Yukino crying will be shown in a flashback when they do her interlude after closing the service club door.

If 8man would accept the position of best man at her wedding.

Never understood the title. This series is neither a comedy nor does it have any romance.

That she can set hachiman free from any obligations now.

What obligation would those be?

Why would 8man be the best man at his own wedding?
Anime would most likely include the iroha interlude where yukino is crying. It's important.

She thinks that hachiman is helping her out of obligation and that she is causing trouble for him.

because 8man being best man is a more satisfying and fullfilling position than being her husband. if I were 8man it would be exhilarating watching someone else have her.

Stop self inserting, user. 8man doesn't have NTR fetish like you. He almost vomited with the mere thought of yukino being with another man.

Mangaka is a massive yuifag. He literally mentioned that he was sad that yui lost after volume 14.

Oh great, he might even admit the max coffee scene from volume 13. This guy really hates Yukino, huh? It's a shame because his Yukino is very cute.

He did know that Yui had no chance right?

Yes, because his "teen rom com is WRONG"

>omit
fucking damnit

I forgot, how did Yukino ended up winning the competition again?

Yes, but he was whining in the comments with other yuifans that he is sad. I don't think he is a yukino hater but just a massive yuifag.

She definitely does. I remember the scene with all three of them having a sleepover at Yui's made it apparent. I haven't seen the show in a long time, but there's definitely dialog in there that cements that.

8man basically told her that the prom being a success is because of her and that she should take the win, but a moment later he realizes that he fucked up massively.

there is plenty of times 8man puts himself into the cuck corner for her

Iroha?

It's not a healthy relationship where they fall out so frequently and then makeup. In fact, that's a roller coaster relationship and it's extremely unhealthy.

She’s thinking of cornering Hikigaya in the club room and then sucking on his 8 inches against his will.

>What I wished for probably wasn’t a relationship that was conventional in society. It was probably something where you dragged down the hand you took along with you to the sea bed. It was a terribly self-centered sentiment.

It's what he wants. And each time they went against each other, they became more closer to each other when they patched up.

What relationship? They didn't have one to begin with. Yukino and Hachiman were just acquaintances and forced into a club against their will. They weren't friends. They don't ask each other personal questions.

Their "relationship" was just bounce off some jokes on each other and that's it.

Yet they cared about each other more than anything. It was as watari mentioned "not too close, yet not too far".
