Might as well look for dropped scanlations.

OP-san, I think I have a manga for you

Seems simple enough, I think I'll translate the first chapter and upload to mangadex.

Danke, based OP

Not him, but holy shit, I just read that a week or two back, didn't expect to see it mentioned here any time soon.

I just hope you're not the one typesetting the OP's page because holy fuck.

That's a meme don't worry.
Pic related is first page.

Translate the untranslated Baki chapters and you will be a god to the fandom

Which one? Baki Dou (2018) is currently being translated and updates are frequent.

He means the original, the last chunk of it still isn't done, although I don't know if anyone's working on it or not.

mangadex.org/title/2434/grappler-baki
>Last update: 13 days ago.
The group translating it advertises themselves: "We work on Baki. The objective is a complete scanlation available to the public."
I'll leave it to them.

Good call.

What's wrong?

Anyone knows why in MB some chapters redirect to the front page? JP lock?

It just looked weird for me, that's all.
I think it forces you to buy it.

Example?

mangabox.me/reader/203/episodes/
Any of these for example.

>You're life as a free person has ended.
>You're
Maybe you should learn English first.

Oh fuck.

Any doujinshi scanners here? I'm planning on buying LeftHand's unscanned digital doujinshi for Azur Lane to eventually translate, but his earliest one (White Plan) doesn't have a digital version. I don't want to buy a scanner just for one book either.

Well, look out for the chapter, it'll come out in a few days, hopefully.

Please give me Photoshop brushes for handwritten text. And tips on how to make my handwriting look less shit because I'm not an artist and I'm still learning.

OP, here's the first 2.5 chapters of a doujin too awesome no one properly scanned.

based thanks TL bro

If anyone cares to typeset something there's a translation for a "onee shota battle manga" someone did when I dumped it some time ago

desuarchive.org/a/thread/195923116/#q195923116

(there's a translation on Mangadex but it's an april fools thing with tiktok memes)

OP plz do a few Rikudou chapters. It's a boxing manga that got dropped by Mono Scans at chapter 92 and hasn't been picked up since. The manga has already finished

Anyone knows how to get raws from MangaUp? And MangaOne, there was an explanation from /g/ ripper user (I think) that includes using fiddler, reverse engineering the app, modify the certificate pinning or something like that, but I'm not a tech wizard so all those thing are just beyond me. If there's any simple solution that even a tech illiterate like me could do, please teach it.

Also, did anyone here also plan to take JLPT in July but couldn't because it was canceled?

Guess you've got six extra months now to plow your head into anki.

Maybe ask in /h/? they have a spreadsheet which lists pro scanner groups. Some scanners are great like salar from hentaicore, and some are just plain autists like sh*kuganexa

Yeah, I was actually planning a suicide by aiming N2 in my fist try, but now I feel like I can make it if it's in December.

Oh, here's a tip then. You better get used to listening to actual japanese and not anime japanese or the listening section will fuck your shit up.

Thanks for the tips, I watch less anime and more variety shows lately.

ESL here, why is "俺だけが知っている" here translated as "But only I can know"? It doesn't feel like an imperative sentence in the original language.

Welcome to fan translation.

You know what makes this even better? Pic related, the nip covers have a better translation right on them.

Did you see the Yurucamp april fools "Akicamp" with Akio?

>kawaii
Imagine shitting all over your translation because you have a mentality of a retard weeb.

Attached: shounen you ecchi.png (739x642, 461.56K)

They probably just heard that some English speakers use "kawaii," and don't realize that kawaii isn't actually a standard word.

What's the ongoing rate for translators? And do you know people who translate for JP for a very low price?

All of it is translated in Yas Forums archives.

Anyone you're paying peanuts to is almost certainly an ESL who is running your work of choice through OCR software and making shit up when Google spits out gibberish.

many are not working and autism of one faggot somehow keeps people from scanlating the most classic arc, which is MAximum Tournament. So fuck off, kindly.

If you're just stating to learn, don't try to translate.

But user, translating manga is an effective language learning strategy. Spending a sizable amount of time, that I could have spent engaging with native content, formulating english sentences and dealing with logistics does wonders for my japanese language gains. Plus, if someone tries to call me out on my butchery I can just call them retarded for expecting to not be fed shit.

For a doujin, just a TL usually ranged from below 0.75$ to 2$ per page, full edit (typeset) usually 1$ to 3.75$ per page (happymerchant rate, I think). You can check /h/ spreadsheet for that.
I do for dirt cheap since I'm working alone.

Honestly, as long as you take the extra time to look up / check every part you don't know for sure, you can probably do a passable job, it'll just take you longer. Most shitty translations are from fags who don't care if they're wrong or retards who think guessing when they're not sure is actually going to work out.

for which group?

>if you look up / check every part you don't know for sure you're not guessing you see, you are making an educated guess so you can probably do a passable job.
Nice cope.

You don't know what you don't know, though. Beginners tend to jump to a lot of conclusions because they can't find a specific example to draw from. Either they can't read the explanation of a phrase, don't realise it is a phrase in the first place, or they get sick of looking up every other word and just start making shit up.

You can't put out a decent translation by acting like a chinese fucking room.

translate some shitty isekai. If you actually know japanese your TL will be better than 90% of the current scanlations.

no group, I'm working alone.

Will check it out. If I like it I might do a few chapters.

Are you the TL user from yesterday? Are you still planning to translate everything this weekend?

This. OP is just a shitter wasting everyone's time, his own most of all.

Learning to translate from Japanese to English is different from learning Japanese.

Someone interested in this? It's Getter Robot, except with a Yas Forums tomboy playing mahjong, and drawn by a guy specialized in futa hentai.

What font is used for "Yuuto" here? And how do you make heart symbol that good? Hand written using a pen tab?

Sequel of that seems to be available nowhere in english. Its pluto tier manga.

Mango. Download link's in last month's thread. They might have used the heart from the raws, I'm not sure if Mango has that glyph.
