Not entirely true. Bottlenecks seem to be much faster. Then the species starts growing mutations, until the next bottleneck. The mutations themselves are usually harmful, but a bottleneck event will bring the properties around.

SJ was pretty lazy. I can understand stand killing her, but Smart snek was too far.

This version does have floating text bubbles that aren't in the correct position and end up pointing to the wrong object/person, but most of the stuff is good.
