I think the issue is that the authors don't wanan end like their senpais, writing the same manga for 20 years and it's a good thing because it might get annoying at some point. But by doing so they are restraining themselves, a shonen manga like that need to have years and years of publishing to become good so you can extend on the universe the characters etc
for bleach it became shittier the more it lasted but that's because kubo is just bad and the soul society arc happened only early on and it delivered so much, I can't think of one single moment in MHA that matches the SS arc, maybe I grew too old? But even by rereading old mangas I still take some enjoyment out of it... I don't understand

user, think of a rubber band. There's a limit of how much you can stretch it before it breaks. Both Bleach and Naruto went over that limit, with Mha being dangerously close. With OP life is more simple, because Oda has a very basic story and he puts it drop by drop in repeating cycles to give the impression of an enormous story. But normally, you can't add too many afterthoughts to a story without ruining its very core.

I guess the hero commission could have kindly asked the LoV to put themselves on hiatus until the UA first year graduated. It's canon that younger generations have stronger quirks than the previous, and in this situation the pros actually made a good use of the most useful ones. The DB formula "a sequence of enemies always slightly stronger than the previous" it's a kinda cheap solution.
As for the overhaul arc, yeah it was crap, but because it was designed to make Deku shine, so the story had to bend around him. The heroes chosen for the raid were absolutely inappropriate and the narrative forced them to act like retards.
About the characters, I agree, most of the kids are prototypes. But there's a reason for that: if you change the way a popular character behaves, there's a chance that it will lose its popularity. So you have to tell, more than show, the change. On the opposite, the villains and Pro heroes can be moved as much as the author wants and can have more peculiar personalities

All Might's lack of backstory is what's making me rooting for Endeavor.
