Not him, but a lot of the animation looks like it's just recycled from scenes in the show itself, and don't really fit the rhythm of the music. The song itself is pretty good though.

The thing about songs that are OPs or EDs for anime is that whether or not they sell is highly related to whether or not the anime is popular, regardless of the quality of the song itself. Suzuki Konomi is a good example; she only ever does anisong and her Oricon rankings are all over the place excepting that one song she did for No Game No Life, which reached #13.

Konomin is very underrated and a waste of potential. Maybe if she wasn't so tied to anime or maybe if she was managed better she would have boomed. I mind because it's a cheap time-saving measure which hints at lower visual quality later on, and the fact that it doesn't even really match the music makes me worry for the music / visual direction the next time we get important music scenes. Well, we'll see how it goes. The show seems to lack creativity in general, but maybe it'll get better.
