Make Armin kill more people

Have the 104th work to usurp Floch instead of trying to stop Eren for no reason. Hange tells levi to give up on his dream, and he does. Gabi and Falco are more or less adopted by Sasha's family. Reiner turns himself in and takes full responsibility for the warriors actions in order to protect them and is executed, at last doing something truely heroic, if small. Magath and Pieck get caught and die fighting. Annie vanishes after ditching Hitch and is never seen again. The final chapters would be setting up what Paradis will be like after the rumbling and then a brief epilogue after it was done. It would be revealed that Eren severed the coordinate (perhaps visually represented by killing worm-kun) thus disconnecting the PATHS and sparing the current shifters from the titan curse. Armin is prime minister, Jean leads the new scout corps exploring the recently emptied world with Mikasa as his Lieutenant, as per Erwin and Levi. Finally, Farmer Eren comes in from the fields, holds his infant daughter Ymir, looks at the sunset, and tells her she is free.

I would rewrite Armin's character from the point they returned back to Paradis. I fully expected Armin to at least use his CF as a bargaining chip to silence anyone who was willing to let Eren get eaten by someone else. I expected him to start growing a backbone and listening to what his old friend had to say, instead of mindlessly following the incompetent authorities. I think he could've been written as a more morelly grey who kinda takes action with his small group of people to find out the truth about Eren or Zeke (potentially joing Eren's side). I didn't expect him to turn into such a whiny wimp, sometimes I even forget that he is one of the 9 shifters.

They recognize that they have no answer for how to achieve peace and decide not to ally themselves with people that seek the destruction of Paradis.

If they absolute must have a B-plot then they can try to calm the more xenophobic citizens of Paradis, ensure the safety of the surviving Marleyans and volunteers, and organize defenses in case Paradis becomes the target of a counter attack.
