exactly. all the antagonists in thsi are pretty well written actually, but jake is just top tier. whenever people do that "dead, but actually not dead!" resurrection bit the villain always comes back nerfed weak and bitchy. thank god they properly just killed him and came up with a new antagonist.

Jake was too OP as well, there was no way they could have won without being tricky in that situation.
They are too important to each other now; the change from the first episodes/the Beginning compared to how they act after the Rising is very satisfying to watch.
