Not him, but it makes them more precious. You enjoy them much more because you know the moment they're introduced that they are doomed. The more you like them, the more you will feel for them. It's an ecstatic feeling because you know what's coming for them, even if you wish they would survive, and it lets you value the little time they have much more.

I'm not even trying to use filler in a pejorative sense here, as it's beneficial for it to not just be "plot, plot, plot" and have some time to relax and explore its characters. But the way the anime handled the MotW was just stupidly repetitive and it seems bizarre to me that people would specifically love the show for that, as opposed to what it does with its cast and side-characters.

There's a few I like a lot. Meaning I would want to save and befriend them. Thetis, of course. Doorknobda, Ponko, Tenko, Toge Toge Jo. And a few others. Mainly those with redeemable personalities.
Of course, there are a few "truly evil" ones that are so hot that I still feel bad for them. The plant sisters (Grape, Suzuran, Housenka) come to mind.

She seems like one of the rare cases where the "monstrous" form is done right and strikes a good balance between the sexy, feminine, human part and the horrifying, wild, animalistic part.

I really love that they implemented what was popular at the time (things like Ah! My Goddess, Dragon Ball, etc) to make them as animu as possible to fit the episode.
It kinda made their designs overkill but unique.

Real ryona fag here, would like it better if every week it had a monster who manages to have her way with torturing and defeating the sailors, so she takes a holiday, and a new monster takes her place next episode.

I remember reading ages ago that they were partially inspired by Kosuke Fujishima's designs at the time, especially Urd.
It's kinda mirrored in Ah! My Goddess doujins from that time as well.

I liked that monster of the week based on an incompetent cleaner. The way it went around bothering everyone over its personal hangups only to get slapped down by its superiors was hilarious. The Sailor Moon anime truly is amazing and an essential watch.
