Still, this assassination arc is probably the weakest so far. It just feels sloppy reading it weekly.
JJK is going through one of its strongest arcs right now, so that makes up for it.
I've just read the first handful of AA chapters. Excited to keep on going.

The first half of the current arc in CSM is pretty meh because it introduced a bunch of characters I don't really care about.
But then it gets better and better after Quanxi invaded the mall. Darkness Devil introduction is top tier.
JJK's current arc has been consistent so far.
AA's longest arc just ended. Some like it, some doesn't. I feel like it was 6.5/10 toward the end, could have been better but oh well.

the current arc of CSM is kind of dumb because Fujimoto fucked up his usual standby of "introduce a bunch of characters and then kill them all" by introducing too many at once and making them too interesting. The Santa Claus twist and going to Hell was cool but Quanxi and the Amerimutts were all literally irrelevant in the long run so all the pages spent on characterizing them just feel like a waste now. Plus Beam is based and deserved better

Princess Iron Fan was great up until the end of Yonagi's version of the play, then it starts to drag because literally watching the same play over again feels bad when you have to wait a week for new chapters. When read in tanks it's probably the best arc in the series. It definitely has the best single chapter at least (94)

The worst of that for me was the Fiends.
I felt that they got too much focus to be killed off so quickly, while not getting enough to make the deaths actually meaningful.
Like there was a decent amount of time spent characterizing Violence, enough were wiping him out to make the enemy seem dangerous feels like a waste. But at the same time I didn't get to spend enough time with him to actually start caring.
Spoilers for SBR - it'd be like killing Gyro in the bombing arc. Or maybe even in the Magnetic Family Fight.

And yeah, JJK has been pretty damn good since the Flashback arc.
Agreed. It's my favorite arc but the chapters after Team A's play should have been handled differently. I find it harder to enjoy AA right now because of the bitter aftertaste.
