It's good yeah despite being simple. Louise is great and it's cool how she has the cookie cutter tsundere personality but she backs it up by actually being a good character with reasons for being so.
I have to agree. I usually don't like Rie tsunderes, but I liked Louise.
I actually think the worldbuilding is kind of ok for what it was.

The worldbuilding was fine, the political plotting was shit. Saito absolutely gets on my nerves because he's the definition of the protagonist that just trips and falls into success.
I 100% understand if all anyone took away from this is that the girls and dragons are hot.
And Saito should have impregnated Tabitha.
And everyone else.
